Sure would be nice to see one update from anyone that would use the word New York when writing about this club so all the fans of this team within the city limits and New Jersey still feel like they are connected to it.

I think we picked up Pock just for depth. He will probably start off in Bridgeport. Maybe get a call up if a couple d-men go down.

This is awesome stuff, really enjoy reading your blog. I like how you tell it like it is, no sugar coating. This team is a work in progress and it’ll be awhile before we see a run for the “Cup” I’m hoping for a good season that shows promise for the future.

According to every single source I have read from, Gordon really seems to be paying a lot of attention to detail and working the game out through numerous drills. Hopefully this type of structure will benefit the Islanders youngsters in the long-run, as it will break down the game and allow them to emphasize their speed throughout the season rather than the skill that is not fully developed yet. I must say, I do feel a sense of optimism surrounding this team.
