For what it’s worth, the jerseys are ok, although if they’re only going to be worn at home, then they should have gone with white. They’ve obviously got other problems, but it would be nice if the NHL would fix this one and go back to white home jerseys. How it is that fans seeing only blue v white, no matter the opponent, for every single game is somehow helping to market jerseys is beyond me.

otherwise it should be the primary uniform. looks great.

( iguess everybody is free to do what they choose in this new instant gradification world we live in)…

though however funny & slightly wierd strummers comments were, it might just be par for the course if you ask me…
after all the Village people/cop dude was a little too much..

last point… forget the politics… I like CB to me appears as a stand up guy.. would be interesting to pick his mind about this club?

Cb tried to spin some of his thoughts here last week, lol i caught that subtle attempt… I was close to responding.

Then I thought nah, screw that this is and should be hockey talk or like Cb does talk about the community events and such…
so i refrained,as I think we all should when it comes to all this other outside peripheral crap

so now i owe an apology for my read on this.. and thats where it ends for what its worth im not a liberal & CB and others may not be Conservatives…

Yet one Thing is Very Clear To Me….
We Are NY ISLANDER FANS HEART N SOUL,and during the few hours before and after the game, as well as the time we spend reading and blogging here……

We throw our outside Hockey arena beliefs & Convictions out the window and we all get along just fine.. that to me is cool…
over the years when i would sitin that building during playoff games, i would look around at the raucous crowd of Long Islanders & those who came back to their old stromping grounds to root passionately for the Isles, well i often took a split second to relish the instant comradery and togerthness of a people that probably would be on different sides of the aisle in terms of many things.. yet on those nights it was all good.. It was about our team our passion our community & our hobby.. nothing else mattered during those brief moments…

I liked that it was cool, i hope we feel it again some day thats my real point here!

I noiced that all-caps post was already posted on at least one other of Chris Bottas posts here tonight. Why was it repeated? And what does it have to do with the uniforms lol? But seriously- I understand that youre trying to be entertaining or funny but the thing is, there are gay people who read this blog and they might not like the joke all that much. Im not looking to fight about it at all StrummersArmy, but maybe you could think about how things like this might offending others. Just something to think about is all.

evrybody has their opinion, and what made this site so great up to this point is,
even though we can agree to disagree on a myriad of subject manner pertaining to this hockey club….

We seem to offer composure & decourum when answering to,or bringing up a point about the good & bad of our hockey team..

Please do not turn this web site into a p****** contest! check your ego’s at the door ty! (this crap ruins these sites)

Its not about anything more important then watching this Franchise restore The Pride N Passion period!

I suppose it’s OK for you to call everyone in the Islanders organization cowards, liars, fools, etc… you can even dream up a scenario where they are having slumber parties together and act out your fantasies on this blog… but I don’t want to hear it… and I don’t think anyone else does either.

So either your steroid rage is getting a little out of hand… (back off on your Deca-Durabolin and Winstrol) or you have some serious mental disorders.

If you are able to write a legitimate critique of the game or an opinion about a personel move then fine… but your idiocy and mindless babbling is intolerable.

Strummer and Doc jello wrestle and we have Rick, Snow, Wang, Dey and Gordon all do the pregame concert with their best hits from the YMCA tour. I wanna see Wang and Rick do the letters so badly as the team the assembled cast above has left us dreaming of something entertaining and inspiring and the five weakest links in the organization (Gordon makes the list for not being a stand up guy) will have to do the inspiring.

No jello royale death match? Then I advise putting as much passion into this team as they deserve: little to none.

This organization died in the summer of ’02. Wang is worse than Milstein….at least brother Ed Milstein nixed a horrid trade and tried albeit briefly to make us better.

Keep the Islanders players first and foremost before the Islanders organization and the PR BS they give us “stooopidd” fans, Chris….we diehards from when times were better still read and appreciate.
