Either I got a bad scoop yesterday on the Islanders’ lineup for tonight (always a possibility!) or someone thought it might be a good idea to play your best pair of defensemen in your only home ex game. Either way, Radek Martinek and Brendan Witt are in tonight against the Devils. Josh Bailey, originally scheduled to play tonight, is now out - likely replaced by Kurtis McLean. Bailey must have a mystery ailment.

Not bad. The Devils also have Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Lablond, a tough guy with a heart as big as his name. He went with Donald Brashear the other night and Brent said, “He’s made everyone take notice.” Seems Fritz and Sugden may have a dance partner. May we suggest a round-robin?
For those unable to make it to the Coliseum tonight, the Devils tell me they are streaming live audio via their team site. I’m still thinking of ways to cover this game and I’m open to suggestions.

Sim-McLean-Okposo, huh? Im curious, why McLean? He hasnt been listed on the Isles roster. He isnt even listed as part of the roster on the Isles official game preview!
Brendan Witt is so awesome,he’s my fav player, love that pic! Hunter as well, other guys I’m not really all to familiar with. It honestly doesn’t matter to me who starts, so long as I see some good hockey being played..I’m happy!
What I’d like to know is when are we set to get air time? I’ve been looking at schedules and I don’t see..
Hopefully, Sugden runs over half the Devils team and right onto the Isles roster tonight!

1 The islanders play the Devils 3 times in the next 10 days including the season opener.
2 both sides are loading up for bear tonite - just take a look at the line ups! maybe they don’t wany anyone running over him before thew season starts
What else is new with this Franchise, now our “GREAT 1ST ROUND PICK” Is hurt …Unreal different year same crap- we trade down what 3 times to draft this guy and he cant get through 2 weeks of training camp while filitov and schenn will be opening up for there 2 teams on opening night.

Hey admin/Botta/Gallof: for whatever reason, I find it useful to have time stamps on your posts and the posts of people in the comments section. I think it’s important to know the time some of these things come up so we can determine whether or not the information is still relevant.
