SEE THE ALL-STAR GAME IN STYLE
Final 2 days for Steve Webb’s Foundation fundraiser
Monday and Tuesday are the final days to support Steve Webb’s foundation and perhaps win an amazing trip for four to the NHL All-Star Game in Montreal.
Steve’s W20 Foundation, which he started to promote and support youth hockey in his adopted home of Long Island, is holding a fundraising raffle. And what a prize Steve has lined up. Raffle tickets are $25 each, but the winner gets a hockey fan weekend of a lifetime:
4 Tickets to the NHL All-Star Game in Montreal on January 25, 2009. (With the Canadiens’ 100th anniversary, these tickets are impossible to get).
- 4 Tickets to the NHL All-Star Skills Competition the night before.
- One night hotel accomodations for 4 on Saturday, January 24.
- And to top it off, travel in style with round-trip air transportation for your group of 4 out of Republic Airport in Farmingdale.
Raffle ticket sales are on-going through Jan. 6, 2009. The raffle will be held the next day.
When we first promoted this four weeks ago, several Point Blank readers stepped up big and made it a great day for the W20 Foundation. Let’s see if we can finish up strong.
To purchase tickets and learn more, click here or go to Steve’s foundation website at www.w20foundation.org.
When we first posted this, Webby himself responded in Comments with thanks to supporting readers. You never know…

I picked up a few raffle tix the other day, thanks to CB for bringing attention to the fundraiser as I would never have heard about this great prize otherwise.
-
I hope I win, but more than anything else I wish Steve Webb the best in this worthy endeavor.
-
I bought one when CB first posted this. Wish I could do more.

Hey Everyone,
Great stuff going on here with the count down to the draw. I am looking forward to going to Montreal with the winner. It will be a great time. I love the city of Montreal. Great to see a local Long Island kid (Mike Komisarek) in the Starting line up this year. Thanks to the work of alot of great people and the Islanders in the 80′s winning the cups, Long Island players are making a splash at all levels of hockey around the world. We are very close to reaching our goal. Some good people have just started placing Threads on the local hockey message boards and we are seeing the spike in tickets sales. With your help of keeping the threads at the top of their pages or posting your own threads out there, we will be able to reach the Foundations desired goal. For those who have purchased tickets thanks and good luck in the draw.
Check the W20foundation.org website around 5:00 pm Wednesday night to see who the lucking winner will be. -

Well just going by that picture….since when did Steve Webb become Matt Roloff?
(Little People Big World). -
I LOVE Matt (I watch that show all the time) and I actually think the guy rocks, but Stevie has a couple of feet and maybe like 60lbs on him so I just dont see the resemblance lol!
-
Just meant in that particular picture, Chris!
Not seein’ the resemblance, huh?
It’s alright, jut light hearted facial comparison from that one posted pic, that’s all.
