Since the lockout, it's honestly hard to take any league-issues piece he writes seriously, because it's always framed with a remarkably single-agenda bent. Not only the stupidity of running an All Star game on a channel that half the country cannot get but the singular inability to conduct due dillegence in respect of potential awnership which has been the downfall of the Islanders for their entire existance. Add to that the failure to negotiate a CBA without having a lockout. Its all very well for MLB to have a lockout from their strength but another lockout in hockey could be the end of the sport.
