great interview Chris. You clearly communicated that important date for the lighthouse hearing. I’m sure that will go a long way.
I hope you are right and they get someone to help protect these kids when the time comes and another veteran forward to take some of the pressure off them as well.

CB, nice job. I was practically talking along with everything you said about bringing in at least one more skilled forward to draw some focus away from Tavares. I couldn’t agree more.

CB, great job!!!!!!!!!!

As always, nice job, CB. Looking forward to even more such appearances leading up to August 4.
Thanks, also, for directing me to Seth’s web page. Being an “out-of-market” fan, it’s nice to know there’s a place I can go to listen to intelligent hockey talk on the radio, even if I’m just catching up with the podcasts. Too often, the hockey stuff heard on the national shows is sarcastic and dismissive – when it’s heard at all, that is. Also just listened to Seth’s interviews with John Tavares, Barry Melrose, and Lou Lamoriello. Good stuff.

With the development seen in Rob Hennigar and finally a chance to play with goal scorers I think he will have a great year in BP – that is, if given a chance. All one has to do is look at his stats for playmaking over the past 5 years – led Canada at University level, led Utah in scoring in only 38 games played, led ECHL in points per game. He deserves a chance.

Is there any way that you can pass along a message to whoever it would concern about the team NOT shutting off practices to the public. Im worried that that will happen given the fact that rookie camp is now closed except for one day. The Islanders, I feel, are one of the most accesible teams in any league, and I think the fans really value that at any point we can drive out to syosset to see the guys behind the scenes. I think that this is a special thing that we get from the team, and it would be a real shame if we lost it.
