Your talk of existing strip malls and lack of development being due to a poor economy is inaccurate. This talk of development has been stonewalled for over 9 years now,of which 7 were in a healthy economic climate. Charlers Wang took over this Franchise knowing he was going to lose a s--t load of dollars without his vision coming to fruition. So what if he would benefit from it financially and he was ambitious. Isn't that what Capitalism is all about? Why begrudge the man from operating a solvent Franchise? Everyone benefits from development in that property into an atteactive Hub! You as a resident of Nassau County if you are,would have imminent property tax relief,since the Retail and other entities borne on that site would create revenue streams and would pick up a significant chunk of your tax burden. Young families are leaving the Island in droves because they cannot afford to be strangled financially any longer. Aside from The Beaches and Westbury,what entertainment value exists for young people here anyway. The Hub will change that, create jobs and rejuvenation of Island pride and spirit!! Give that some serious thought before clouding your head with such hate for Wang and making it a priority!!
