No skate…Skelos supports…is tonight the night?

UPDATED at 6:00 pm - From what I’m hearing, no major changes to the Islanders’ lineup tonight.
*
The Islanders chose not to have a morning skate today. Only scratched players from last night’s 6-3 loss in Buffalo are working out at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum this morning.
More than four decades after their invention, morning skates are still not an exact science. I’ve seen teams (not just the Islanders) work hard in the morning and blow out teams or get blown out at night. I’ve seen coaches insist that their players not show up at the rink until 5:00 pm, and later watch as their teams explode offensively or look like they’re skating in mud.
Bobby Clarke once pointed out that he never saw NFL teams doing sprints and blocking drills the morning of a Monday Night Football game. (I’m paraphrasing). An opposing GM once told me he was confident the skates are a complete waste of time and energy, and even felt bad about all the unnecessary work his equipment staff had to put in. But he didn’t want to be the renegade GM to stop the practice of morning skates.
Carolina coach Peter Laviolette banned morning skates. Perhaps it was only coincidence, but that was during Pete’s final season as head coach of the Hurricanes.
After his team lost at home to Atlanta last night, Devils coach Jacques Lemaire decided to make today’s morning workout in preparation for a home match against Carolina an optional skate. Two weeks ago today, the morning after they raised a Stanley Cup banner and beat the Rangers in Pittsburgh, the Penguins had a mandatory skate at the Coliseum under the command of Dan Bylsma. The Penguins certainly had plenty of life in their legs in the third period and overtime.
*
Martin Biron in goal. I expect Bruno Gervais will be back in the lineup, while Jack Hillen showed enough to stick. Let’s see if the coaching staff sits a veteran, such as the struggling Brendan Witt (-9).
You would think the Joel Rechlicz experiment would be over for now. But very few of us have had much success over the last two seasons predicting what the Islanders are going to do in the toughness department. Otherwise, the forwards were pretty good last night in Buffalo. I could see Nate Thompson in for Rechlicz. Would not fall off my chair if Jeff Tambellini got back in, maybe for Blake Comeau. Just because.
*
As if the Lighthouse Project does not have enough support, now Charles Wang and Scott Rechler have the backing of a key Republican, Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos of RVC. Skelos called the Lighthouse “a critical component in our effort to strengthen the regional economy and build a modern, first-class facility that allows the Islanders to continue to call Long Island home.”
Good for him. Now, about our taxes, Mr. Skelos.
*
Islanders host San Jose tonight, Carolina on Wednesday, in search of their first win. During our live chat last night, I projected attendance for the Sharks to be around 14,000. After seeing what’s available online, I’m now thinking closer to a crowd of 12,000 that the Islanders will announce as 13,000 and change.
Is tonight the night the Islanders get their first win? No reason why not. The Sharks don’t show up every night. Would help if the Islanders hit some opponents.
*
Enjoy the game tonight. I’m on assignment for FanHouse – Carolina at New Jersey rematch. A guest writer will do a little post-game report and get the conversation started.
Talk about Islanders-Sharks here.

No skate…Skelos supports…is tonight the night?
-
skelos’s support is huge. he’s basically the leader of the gop in ny state at this point. murray will look pretty silly if she doesn’t follow her bosses lead. i hope that witt gets benched tonight. if the yanks game gets rained out early i think you may see a bigger crowd tonight. in all honesty, the yanks playoff game is more interesting at this point.
-
Everybody applauding the Skelos move should get over to his web site and thank him for his support. The Republicans who do back this project should hear from us. It will show that being pro-Lighthouse is (uh-duh) a political stance with an upside. Here’s the link to his contact page: http://www.nysenate.gov/senator/dean-g-skelos/contact

Don’t look now, but who is that kid tearing up the Junior ranks? Oh wait that’s Taylor Hall…
Hey, we all know Toronto is going to try and improve their team in any way they can. I dont see anyone else in this league as bad as us. Every other team can win on any given night, but NOPE… Not us. We may score a few goals and take a 3-0 lead with 8 minutes left in a game, but don’t worry. The flood gates will open.
I just love how our coach, you know the one who thinks he’s smarter than the other 29 head coaches in the league, understands our players. We play lazy hockey…”Let’s give the team the day off. Let’s abandon the morning skate”.. Next it will be, “Let’s not even take a warm-up before the game”.
I’m rooting for us to lose, because I know that Gordo isn’t the right man for the job. Don’t get me wrong, our d is the worst in the league, but that doesn’t excuse the coach for throwing his players under the bus (Bergie) and his players lack of conditioning. I just see ZERO progress from last year. I don’t expect much as a fan of this organization, but I’ve gotten nothing.
Rant over. Let’s go Tavares, Oakie and Streit (plus all the other kids!)
-
Nice pic CB. After an Isles loss, you should always greet us in the morning with an ice girl pic. If nothing else, it’s good for injecting a little perspective.
By the way, regardless of whether he buried all his chances, it’s uncanny how that puck follows Tavares around. That’s how you know he’ll be a special player.
-
Hey maybe we should sign that 9 yr old kid whos all over the tv doing that backhand flip (supposedly hes already playing in a 12 yr old bracket.) anyway he’s not much smaller than some of our forwards
-
Witt much to slow to be pinching and then get on defense. Hard to believe Sutton is so BIG, but so very soft. Time for changes before moral gets to low, winning breeds positive thoughts.
-
I know I’ll be there, but do you think we’ll get 5,000 against Carolina on Wednesday?
For all those getting on Josh Bailey, give him a break. Please look up Joe Thornton, who as a Number One overall pick, had 7 pts in 55 games his rookie year and 41 in his second year.
Bailey is not an overall number one and not a generational talent. He was rushed into the NHL by an incompetent front office. I give the kid credit for holding his own with little talent around him.
Jason Spezza once remarked that the best thing that happened to him was the strike season because by going back to the AHL, he learned a lot about playing the game that was lost on him when thrust into the NHL.
I also understand that the Penguins stunk when Crosby first arrived as did the Capitals with Ovechkin. However, the Islanders management inspires no confidence that a similar turnaround is in the cards–even with Tavares, Bailey, and Okposo. The Thrashers had Kovulchuk and similar highly touted top picks in the past, but because it was and is a bad hockey organization, they could never make it work beyond one playoff year. Unfortunately, I think we’re in the same boat.
-
Please email senator Skelos, no matter where you live, and thank him for being the lone supportive Republican voice. He is an important figure and needs to know that we want him to get to TOH !The word of the State Leader matters in local politics.
-
If they want Tambellini in the lineup play him for Rechlicz. If they sit Comeau for Tambellini Im going to throw a fit. Why dont you sit Sim, who was absolutely invisible last night.
-
I hope Rechlitz stays in the lineup tonight, if the Isles scratched a player after every mistake we would be dressing NO ONE !!!!! Play the kid and let him learn from his mistakes!!!! Go WRECKER!!!! It’s not his fault his GM is Garth Snow!
-
I agree, the Wrecker experiment is finished. If we need a bruiser for Rangers and Flyers games, then maybe we call him up… but I am tired of the ECHL play and as much as I like the kid, he just is not capable of handling this responsibility right now.
The defense is pathetic. Not only do they suck, but we don’t even have prospects up “learning the game”. I realize we cannot rush defensemen, but we all know that Witt, Sutton, Martinek, and Meyer (who’s played okay.. for now.) are not this team’s future. We gave Hillen a shot, and he had some positive plays. I think I agree with CB that we should bench Witter and let Bruno get his legs back underneath him.
This team is bad, but we all knew they would be. Bailey will be fine.. he hasn’t been that bad in comparison to some of our other skaters. Tavares is incredible, period.
I for one, am not giving up yet. We may not have the perfect coach, with the perfect system and good personnel, but in my opinion this is just a bridge to successful hockey. By the time JT, KO and the like have some real NHL experience we’ll get a new coach and we may be a better team when it actually matters.
In the meantime, let’s keep in mind that by next year (and definitely the year after), this blue line will hopefully look more like.. Streit, Gervais, de Haan, Ness and Hamonic. Our system doesn’t work that well with over-the-hill, slow footed defensemen. I guess I (we) have to wait until then…
-
We have a chance to win tonight. Comeau must stay!
-
i applaud what rechlicz did. no other islander would have done anything when he shot. they looked mad but they wouldnt have followed through. they never do. our goalie gets run all the time and we do crap. jackman does it to them and you saw the response. i wish we had more players like gausted who give a crap about protecting goalies and teammates
-
If Gordon sits Witt(PLEASE)and pairs up Gervais with Streit, we should see a HUGE difference not only defensively, but moving the puck out of our own zone.
Also, why not send down Beatle Bailey to Bridgeport and bring up Smyth. I hope Marty Biron is sharper than Rolo was last night, and if not, well the cat calls will be decending down from my perch in 313. With rain and the Yankees trying to squeeze in game 2, there will be no more than 8k in actual attendance tonight.
Bring the rain gear and let’s start right now, “fire gor-do”…
-
Glad to see Mr. Skelos has some sense. I now live in Atlanta because there really isn’t opportunity on LI like long ago. Got offered a few jobs on LI about 5 years ago, and would have had to make 7 times what I make in Atlanta to support a family. Really is sad, but the bottom line is giving people the opportunity to support themselves and live in a community they really love. I miss old Port Washington and the island some days, then I get my tax bill, and see I made a smart decision, too bad it has to be like that…Go Isles
-
REPEAT: “Effort without Talent is Mediocrity”
The Isles just don’t have the talent to compete and it’s starting to looks like the Milbury-Era December Collapse is now a season ending October Collapse!
As much as I love the warrior in Brendan Witt, but he is playing like he is washed up, minus -9, is not good enough to play against good skating teams like Buffalo.
If this year is already done (and it’s looks like it is) I don’t want see minor league talents like Jackman, Thompson and Rechlicz, stinking up the joint, I rather have Robin Figren, Jesse Joensuu and Matt Martin take those 4th line minutes and see what they can do.
-
sit wrecker for tambs, and sit witt for looking lost out there.
bailey was way more noticeable playing with bergs and comeau, i like shremp too.
all practice and every practice have everyone test rolosons five-hole.
other than the goaltending last night i thought we deserved the win.
and to further Gabe(5), tavares is as advertised. he knows just where to be almost all of the time. he gets knocked over a lot and some of his passes are still too slow but he gets chance after chance. He easily could have had a hat trick last night
-
The OVERSTINK system needs to be addressed as well as it’s purveyor, Scott Gordon. I understand that this “rebuild” is a multi-year work in progress, but this hockey fan did not find his “system” to be something that would translate into a successful NHL system last year and I stand by that this year. Fire him. Please. I wanted to say that last year and I am more convinced he is more of a problem than a solution. Bad roster or not, he’s out of his league the same way Steve Stirling was. Nice guy, but not one who’ll get it done in my opinion. I also hope Bailey learns form his mistake on that first goal last night. Meyer was behind the net and Sutton covered his man off the boards – leaving NO defenseman to cover the man in the slot which means it’s the centers responsibility. Bailey read the play wrong and chose to go behind the net to help Meyer leaving a very big Tyler Myers all alone in front.
On a bright note, Okposo, Tavares and Moulson continue to create chances. If we can get someone else going on another line to take pressure off those guys it could translate to a win. -
….Lets hope for a win tonight!!!! Sorry but at -9 Witt must sit. Need someone with some wheels. Its very frustrating to see the Islanders stand pat in UFA and see them suck as badly as they do. Im growing tired of the rebuilding excuse and its gonna take time. There is no excuse for their futility.
-
My hope is when DP comes back, they will trade Biron to a team in need of a goalie like Chicago and we can grap a Versteeg or Barker. We really need a defensive facelift.
-
I understand everyone’s desire to get Rechlitz out of the lineup. But if another team starts taking runs and shots at Taveres, Okposo, and Bailey- you will need someone to answer the call. Who will that be and the answer is not Jackman and Thompson.
-
Gordon: “Ok team, since you played so hard and so well last night, there will be no morning skate today.”
Team: “Thanks coach, we’d promise not to let you down tonight, but we don’t wanna lie to you.”
-
Folks, this is not only a bad team…it’s a bad one line team. I’m happy to see an important Republican supporting the Lighthouse, but I have lost confidence in the management as I don’t see enough to develop to make the team “consistent contenders.” We passed on Luke Schenn and then we could have had Tyler Myers last year and I would have taken either of them over Bailey. I also have come to the belief that, as special as JT is going to be, Hedman should have been the pick in spite of the screaming of fans demanding Tavares. Taking the two stud d-men in two years would have jump-started the building of a world class defense corps.
I’ll be at the game tonight and for the rest of the season but with that, I’ll have to think real hard about pouring more money into this sinkhole, especially since I have the Center Ice package and can find something else to watch when the Isles play like crap (again).
-
Tambellini for Comeau? Huh????
-
The Wrecker sure taught the very intimidating Jason Pommenville a lesson last night. Sure it cost us a huge goal, but you can tell Pommenville was very concerned about it as he blasted that last goal past Biron. Now he’ll think twice about rolling a puck on goal half a second after the whistle. Never mind wins, this is much more important…
-
We are better than Toronto! And Montreal is not much better than us.
-
Need to keep Comeau in. We’re suppose to be building for the future. For same reason, Tambellini should dress. Sit Sim or Wrecker.
-
(n)Ice Girl – Oh My.
-
Why is this game on MSG +2 again tonight? Is it THAT hard to make a HD feed for this game?
-
Witt has regressed more from one season to next than any Islander player I’ve seen since day 1. He also looks disinterested like Kirk Muller was way back when.
Snowgord should face the fact that we are so bad that opponents have no need to run any of our guys. No “enforcer” is neccessary. Tamby and Blake should play over Sim & Reck simply because they have more upside….even if that means taking roster spots until something better comes along.
Too early for predictions on the Isle vs Ranger later this month? Right now I see 8-1 blueshirts at a packed garden east. PUKE.
-
Witt was an appalling -34 last year. This year hes on a pace to be -147. Enough said.
-
Rechlitz is awful and a complete waste of space. The need for an ‘enforcer’ is yet to materialize. Talented wingers yes, enforcer, no! Wish de haan and hamonic were a year older, the D needs help!
-
I don’t see Rechleiz as an enforcer..i know he’s supposed to be..but every game he plays, he comes out, maybe gets into a fight, gets beaten up..and thats his work for the game. I really don’t see a comparison between him and Jackman, Jackman can play and I feel like i’ve seen him win more fights…I like how Jaffee and Rose brought up after the game last night how Rechleiz wasn’t playing after his stupid penality and the isles were than down a foward. I hope they realize that’s what happens EVERY game..when you have one player that only players 2 minutes a game..you’re down a foward.
As for the D…after watching last nights game i just feel like they were moving in slow motion…its like they would just glide after the player.
-
33 we were not down 1 player we were down aout 9 players! We have atleast 9 guys on this team that flat out stink and if you think Tamby or Thompson would have scored 3 goals think again they STINK!!!! Jackman is a JOKE the guy had his gloves off atleast 5 seconds before Gaustad and still to my amazement still landed NO punches, yeah that sure intimadates the opponent. You have to realize thats the word around hockey town this team is WEAK!!!! Rechlitz as raw as he is is the only one we have because our in over his head GM does not have a CLUE!!!! Wrecker needs to stay in the lineup!!
-
#14 could not agree more the rest of the guys have NO balls! Happens all the time guys get run and NO one steps it up! This is the NHL were you are supposed to be tough, whatever happened to “hockey players are the toughest athletes in the world” listening to people on here the sport rivals figure skating!
-
Current Paryoll
San Jose Sharks: $56,000,000
New York Isles: $43,000,000Guess which team will get two points tonight.
-
Atleast the PP and PK are real strong right now. Pick up our 5 v 5 play, eliminate the numerous amounts of 3 v 2 rushes, and for god sake’s shake up the defense.
-
If you want a 2 min a game enforcer, bring back Mitch Fritz.
Play Tamby and Hillen … got that gordo -
Tavares could have had a hat trick last night no doubt. What is with Roloson on shootouts and breakaways? He looks completely uncomfortable and slow. He should never be in the shootouts no matter how well he plays in the game. Sorry but he is too old and slow for one on ones.
-
We couldn’t beat Buffalo last night… you expect a win against the team that can probably win the Stanley Cup this year? If you put all 6 of our defenseman on the ice at once, they still wouldn’t be able to stop Thornton and Heatley. Let’s hope we don’t lose by more than 5.
Maybe we can even get lucky and Sutton, Witt, or Martinek can get injured for the season!
-
Have to agree about our defense looking horrible last night. Never liked Sutton, except for when the Isles were playing against him.
Doug Weight looked lost last night. Why play him on the wing when he is so obviously a gifted centre? Weight is better than Schremp ever will be, so we might as well use him to his potential.
The Wrecker almost looks as out of place as Fritz did last year. Colton Orr would have been my choice, as he would fill Jackman’s role too!
Finally, that is the best ice girl pic I have ever seen. Maybe you are trying to entice BGL to Long Island with those pics and your defense of his commercial?
-
Time to start youtubing Taylor Hall.
By the way, is “youtubing” an accepted word in today’s venacular?
-
She has to be the most beautiful of all the ice girls. I’m not usually impressed but very nice.
I wouldn’t sit Comeau he had an assist last night. If they want to play Tambelleni sit Jon Sim (-5 at least).
No the Riechlecz expierement should not be over for now or forever. The team plays better with him around. He made a rookie mistake last night, a bit too much energy but many of the Isles make big mistakes of their own and don’t get sat down..
Streit, Sutton, Hillen, Meyer are the 4, the other two are currently playing for other organizations.
Interesting that neither Roloson or Biron has looked like their former selves since the season started. Speaks volumes for the quality of the Isles defense and the quality of player Rick DiPietro is.
-
Witt looks lost in the newer speedier NHL where there’s an emphasis on skating! He is too slow and seems to have trouble making decisions w/ the puck and gives it away way too much and just tries to clear the zone to get rid of the puck…=no confidence with the puck!!This team need more scoring and a lil size up front where all the forwards are smallish and get pumped of the puck and don’t have to power to drive to the net!It looks like another lost year and it makes me angry because they could ve added another scorer and dman in the off season instead of 2 goalies(And can roloson stop a goddamn breakaway/penalty shot ever?)…Jesus, come on already,he gets fooled on every move!!Some veteran goalie huh??
-
As long as Slick Scott keeps employing an overspeed system that overtaxes the legs of our immobile defensemen we’re going to see results as we did last night. Goaltending was no help last night, but seeing how our defense wears down, and removes a forward from the press to defend, thus wearing them down I am not surprised at the results thus far.
Witter, now far removed from his “Braveheart” days just isn’t made for Gordo’s minor league overspeed system… After all … it’s not a defensive system at all.
We have to understand that most hockey players have been preached for most of their careers how to play a certain way. Overspeed /pre-pinch / press isn’t a system … it’s a method of forechecking to force errors on opponents … it has much less effectiveness against seasoned NHL pros … maybe works on AHL players, and even less effective in defensive zone. The Heatley led Sharks are going to feast tonight.
-
You think we would have been better off drafting Schenn instead of Bailey? I do
-
Sitting Comeau would be a huge mistake. You’re in danger (Coach Gordon) of “LOSING” the locker room if you start sitting guys like Comeau, Bergenheim, Gervais.
Sit Witt (no effort), Wrecker (no good), Sim (no future).
Pair up Gervais and Streit! Why would you ever split them up… they were very good together for 50 games last year.
DOC
-
Winless team, cold night, not a rival opponent, and looks like they will play the yankee game..
They will announce 12,000 but they will be lucky to have 8k in the building
-
Yes it “Would help if the Islanders hit some opponents.” I haven’t seen a good hit from an Islander since Weight laid out Sutter’s son.
-
Bruno Gervais….. Somehwere out there an AHL team is missing a possible 2nd or 3rd defencemen!
Oz Never did nothing for the Tin-man.

Neither has Gervais for the Organization (hockey wise)….. Lets Go Islanders! -
I do not believe we would have been better off drafting Schenn… He is what he’s going to be, an ok defensive d man, prob at the same level as what hamonic will be. Bailey, just turned 20, and can/will be a top 6 center. Why is everyone so eager and believe they have the ability to make him into a bust? Geez…
-
For goodness sake send Rechlicz back to the AHL and bring Thompson back. He would be a better addition to the team than this young man. Reclicz needs another two years in the AHL. He has no ice sense and is only trying to impress and ends up by making stupid decisions and costing the team. These constant line changes is creating emotional havoc with some of these younger players.
-
The more I think of offseason moves by Snow the more I scratch my head…
Trade down twice with a slew of draft picks to pick a skilled “dark horse” defender in de Haan … then next two picks … goaltenders?!?! … then UFA … two goaltenders? WTH is going on?
Defense should be the next thing Snow addresses … and making sure they’ve built a solid forward corps to play infront of ‘em.
-
Just wondering how much of an impact Skelos’s support will have on Murray since a prominent LI Repub. is on Wang’s side.
-
Sharks 6-2 … Taveres 1G -1A, Okposo 1G … Biron 2 periods 4GAA (all 4 in 2nd period) … Witt -3. Streit 2A.
Heatley and Thorton 2G each.
Just having fun of course … but as you can see I have no confidence in the Isles’ ability to keep the puck out of the net.
-
That ice girl is the highlight of the season to date. Beautiful girl but how f;ed up is that??
-
CB-how about some trade predictions on your next piece?
-
Really don’t understand the lack of patience some are showing. They haven’t been blown out and aside from rolo and Witt, they played well against buffalo. Last year that would have been a 6-0 rout. This year they kept coming back and are showing more heart. Granted we are nowhere near a playoff team but neither is Toronto and they threw money around this offseason. This is not going to be a quick rebuild. I just want to see progress throughout the year. I’d keep Gordon though. Those Nolan coached teams were boring to watch and the trap doesn’t encourage players to show any creativity. Bailey will click with hunter when he’s back and was shooting last game.
-
Our defense is horrible outside of Streit. We have about 4 or 5 guys up front with talent and that is it.Alot of dead weight on this team.We need size up front and an enforcer who could play.
-
Some of you guys are too much…
You hate Garth, Gordon, Wrecker, Witt, Tambs, Sutton, Bruno, Rolo, Bailey, Shremp, de Haan, Comeau, Jackman, Wang, Sparky, Ice Girls…etc…
This team is better than last year, we have more prospects than ever before.
We are heading in the right direction. You know Wang won’t spend money on the team until he gets the LightHouse approved.
We will be better next year… but you have to be patient.
The D needs to be overhauled… we need additional scoring.
Alot of the fringe players will be gone soon enough.
Relax and watch you’re NY Islanders.
-
Round of applause for Jimmy Mac bc he gets it.
Well you do have to admit Witt has lost it. But other than that bravo
-
Partially agree with you Jimmy Mac. But not sure next year will be much different. I do think better times are ahead but this may be 2 or 3 more years. I would think, Taylor Hall, a healthy DP and an overhaul of the defense would go a long way. If Wang does ever get the go ahead for the Lighthouse by the time its close to being completed the rebuld of the team should be almost completed to and Wang will then be willing to increase the payroll and add the one or two free agents they will need. But first we must pay the price with a few losing seasons (to get those high draft picks). Hopefully it all works out. Time will tell.
-
Would love to see some passion from people like Bruno, Bailey, Park and Comeau tonight. We could really use a big effort from some of the underachievers
-
Isles 3 Sharks 2….Why not, we have to get a win sometime. I hate wtching the team lose but they are better than last year as said by above comment Jimmy Mac. I wish we could see consistent lines for more than a game or two so guys can gel some. Solid effort last night and except for bad Roloson, and Wrecker brainfart we may have won. If they could get that first win maybe they could start to roll
-
wang your losing money anyways but are to stupid to realize that putting a competitive winner on the ice will expedite the approval of lighthouse garth and scott are and will be the worst gm coach combo in history
-
Worse than Milbury-Stirling?
-
go outside and yell at the rain. its a rebuild. young guys make mistakes, but thats how you learn. they play hard every nite. they don’t quit. when they make mistakes, the coach is holding them accountable. the leafs loaded up on free agent defenders, and they are playing horrid. when you move guys, cut guys, trade guys, who is taking their place? who wants them, and why do they want them. the season is two weeks old, take a deep breath. the guys a bport aint ready. writing bailey was sent up too early, adn demanding a less skilled player from bport replace him, thats plain foolish. our worst loss is a 6-3 defeat where we got really poor goaltending. other then that, all 1 goal games. we’ll play hard tonite, and hopefully get a win.
-
More Ice Girl pics!
-
Are the islanders serious using san jose radio feed. This is just sad shows that the islanders don’t care about there fans i was planning on buying tix but the way things are goin its not worth it wang needs to do something
-
really good first period. good energy, tons of chances. JT is a BEAST!
-
Tavares is clearly getting more confident every game. That line looks fantastic. Jt could have 3 pts already if we could finish. I am really excited to see how good he can be. Doesn’t look to me like he’s lacking speed and he has clearly the best hands of any islander since ziggy palffy. I like the swap of pairings on d so far as well. Meyer with Witt and hillen with sutton. Keep it up boys!!!
-
GORDON MUST GO!!!!!!!!
-
After 1st they fell apart.. what’s new?

I feel a W tonight.
Just by benching Witt, our chances of becoming successful go up exponentially.
