COLIN WHITE WILL NOT BE SUSPENDED
Escapes punishment for boarding Bergenheim
This was never in doubt, of course.

Rectum Campbell strikes again
-
anybody know where i can see a clip of this?
-
The NHL discipline (as handled by Colin Campbell) is about as fair and just as NBA reffing in the playoffs.
No respect.
-
at least he is consistent at being inconsistent
-
Ha…who says Campbell isn’t predictable…
-
remember barney..
the wheel of justice spins round and round, round and round.sometimes, in the face of totally unprofessional and biased conduct, a public “calling out” is required.
or red shoes, rainbow afro wig and enema bulb nose. colin, if your gonna act a clown, dress the part.
-
Keep up the good work Colon. Unreal.
-
Colin Campbell is equal parts stupid, useless, unfair, and corrupt.
-
Really??? That is a disgrace to the sport of hockey. Higher ups should have a meeting to see this complete and unprofessional incompetence. Unbelievable.
-
as much i as i think white was deserving of a suspension..i knew it wouldnt happen because no brains colin campbell is in charge
-
I was at a hockey tourney Saturday night and missed the game. Is there anywhere I can see the hit on the web??
Nevertheless not surprised… pissed, but not surprised. NHL needs to find a replacement for this joke asap
-
Soupy is an utter joke.
Hit from behind… breaks Bergenheim’s nose.
Hit from behind… cracks Dupuis head.
I guess there is a difference there.
-
Garth Snow need to call out Campbell on this one. This is BS.
-
Total crap. He deserved one game. Maybe not two because I didnt think his hit was quite as hard or brutal as Sutton’s hit on Dupuis, but definitely one game. I have to think that they just throw darts at a board when they are discussing these suspensions. If there was any logical thought they would compare it to previous or similar incidents. Sutton’s hit was harder and the player was farther away from the boards and got two games. White’s hit was not as hard and Bergy was closer to the boards resulting in less injury which should be one game, not a 2,500 dollar (pennies to a professional athlete) slap on the wrist.
-
On the bright side, Rags lose again
-
NYICHAMP39 (12) IMO his hit was as hard as Sutton’s hit on Dupuis, there just wasnt a foot plus size differential.
When it comes down to it, it was the same kind of thing… so why would we expect the same kind of treatment? That would mean the NHL is consistent- and we all know better than that.
-
April Fools! Right?
-
how does this guy have a job. totally clueless.
-
Chris, during your live chat the other day, you did what you always do: you were a stand-up guy and refused to call the NHL biased. I appreciate your class; that’s why you’re so successful, but this is the last straw. Campell, the ex-Ranger, has done this to us TOO MANY TIMES.
-
What a joke.
And people wonder why hockey is rated behind golf, NASCAR(god help me),tennis and a whole slew of other “sports”. Because it is run like a joke…by morons who are a joke.
-
Colin Campbell has never recovered from laying helpless like an inanimate blob in the Canucks net during Game 3 of the 1982 Stanley Cup finals when Mike Bossy scored his famous “both feet off the ice while shooting” goal.
He’s a disgrace.
-
Snow and Wang need to get Campbell FIRED!
-
Someone once said, “power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.” I don’t know how this all works, but can’t the owners/union do something about this suspension process? Campbell has proven to be an idiot in his capacity. There has to be some type of panel for this stuff.
-
WOW! Shocking, ok, sarcasm off
-
…CB I am calling you out. I know you have made a comment that Campbell is equally inept league wide. I understand your journalistic endeavors tone your rhetoric regarding being critical of the league. However I would like to here your honest opinion weather you think this guy has a bias against us.
-
Hate him or …. Hate him, he is more unpredictable and interesting than last year’s team.
I’m just happy Okposo wasn’ suspendedt for letting Kerry Fraiser know his contact lenses mustve fallen out.
-
Campbell is a former ranger so he hates the Isles. No shock there’s no suspension here! Someone should complain!
-
He’s not biased, he’s inept. Utterly inept. He is wildly inconsistent. Some plays get suspensions, some dont’t. The worst pat of this: What does Colin White learn from this? NOTHING! He’ll do it again, and put the NHL further into the stone age.
The NHL needs to have the competition committee meet and come up with a schedule for suspensions. I’ll keep saying it until someone in the media (wink, wink CB) puts some pressure on the NHL to change this monkey-business.
-
Typical double standard. Sutton gets 2 for the same thing. The nature of the resulting injury instead of the act itself always rules and that’s where Campbell is a clown. He was a bad defenseman, a bad coach and now a bad disciplinarian.
Hey Botta, heard you between periods on 1050 radio. Imagine my suprise to hear that as I haven’t heard NYI talk on the radio in a loooong time. (Too bad it was during an NYR game)
C Connor for MVP!! Baby Huey Malkin is just incredible.
-
I can’t remember exactly. maybe some one can correct me. when white hit bergy did he even have the puck???
-
Bias would indicate that he actually has a plan or a framework. I don’t think he’s that smart. If there is any bias, it’s towards established players/stars, ala the NBA where they don’t call fouls on star players.
-
such a joke. Looked like the same type of hit to me. It just seems like this happens to the islanders way too often.
-
The bottom line is the credability of the NHL. It’s being hurt by the lack of clear guidelines on hitting from behind and consequent suspensions, even more so is this possible “islander bias”. Real or not it looks bad for the league which is in need of good publicity for a change.
-
haha wow this is amazing.
-
The NHL is way overdue for a Colonoscopy… predictable outcome yet one that that MUST be addressed by the Islanders. I would love to hear Andy Sutton’s take on the White hit.
Maybe it was just one Colin taking care of another. Ok enough of the lame jokes. BEAT THE CAPS!! LGI
-
Colonscopy – Ha Good one. But that would only be probing into situation. I think we all know the word for what really needs to be done.
-
incompetent does not equal bias. nuff said.
-
I don’t get it. If he doesn’t have something against the Isles, he has a funny way of showing it.
-
Sure this is a joke …but at least it doesn’t really matter cause devils arenot in competition for a playoff spot. A devil suspension doesn’t help the isles. The guy needs to go… Sure… But the isles got way way bigger problems then Colin Campbell.
-
Does anyone remember when Chris Simon got that huge suspension for stepping on a players leg with his skate. A few weeks later Pronger did the EXACT same thing and got 2 games?
I cannot believe that Colin Cambell has a bias towards the islanders, but I do however feel that the league does protect certain players as opposed to others. Not that Colin White is such a big name…….
Kyle Okposo getting cross checked at the end of the game with a non call, would NEVER have happened, had it been Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin etc etc NEVERRRRRRR
-
Chris – C’mon already. You said Campbell was equally inept when dealing with all teams. Where as I agree with you that he is inept at his job, he DEFINITELY has screwed the Isles mor ethan any other team. The hit to Tavares should have been at the very least 5 games. Sutton’s hit would not have been as bad had Dupuis positioned himself corretly on the boards. Do you really think Sutton is trying to do that down by a goal in a close game. I mean really? Colin White puposely drove Bergy’s face into the boards and showed NO remorse. I thought you provided alternate and independent coverage to hockey fans. Your starting to sound like every other NHL team site. Please Keep it Real! That is the reason why I come to this site EVERYDAY. You USUALLY have a good read on things. However, I have to respectfully disagree with your take on this one!
-
I don’t even know what to say……….
-
Wow. I am pretty shocked and bewildered. Yes this is my team and I am biased however I really do not see the difference with the Sutton hit. Both players aren’t dirty and have no history of violations. The only difference that I see here is that Bergy was able to come back into the game, mangled face and all. Hockey is not my day-to-day career so I am sure there subtleties in the hit that an expert can notice but from all I have been reading, Sutton obviously did not intend to hurt and simply could not back off once he committed. Wow, this is really becoming a long running joke as they keep us guessing and never explain themselves. Oh well, let’s go Isles!
-
Anyone who thinks that White’s hit on Bergenheim was different that Sutton’s hit on Dupuis is just dead wrong! These are two completely different hits, and White’s hit on Bergenheim was WORSE! Now, I’m as objective as they come. Sutton’s hit drew more blood, but White’s hit was more dangerous. Unbelievable that nothing further happened.
-
FU NHL!
-
Here’s where the NHL irks me to no end: If White hit Crosby like that, it would have been a suspension, no doubt. You cannot run a business like that, you cannot pick and choose how to dole out discipline on a whim. It’s absolutely ludicrous – this is a professional organization – yet it’s run worse than a frat house.
-
Maybe he didn’t suspend him because he liked his name. As logical as anything else that comes out of the Colin
-
Hey CB, what is the recourse for this guy? Does he have anyone to answer to? I have a heard time believing it’s just, Colin Campbell of all people… really?
-
this shouldn’t be a surprise as nhl leadership has been inept for all of bettman’s term as commish
he drove the sport we love to the edge of oblivion, what makes you think he’d have capable surrogates below him.
the nhl needs a change in leadership, one w/ accountability, consistency and progressive thinking

This is the kind of thing that makes the NHL a freakin’ joke. White not getting suspended for the same kind of hit as Sutton is total BS! This i why I do not even watch anything other than Islander games. The NHL is big joke!!!
-
two devils take out two of our guys nielsen and now bergy and nothing. the message form the nhl is go ahead a run any islander you want and nothing will happen to you or your team. gath i thing it’s time you look into the boogaard in minnesota.
-
Les Beaver (#48) – you are dead on. If White’s hit was against any established star like Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, etc., he would’ve received some sort of suspension.
The only word that came to mind when I read the story was pathetic.
-
How did Colin Campbell ever get this job, and how does he manage to keep it? By the way, Campbell is clearly still pouting over being abused by Bossy in the 1982 Stanley Cup finals. He is also worthless and just another reason why the NHL is not taken seriously as a major sport.
-
Frans Dish – (57) Sean finnished that game – wearing a cage – so i think he is fine
-
i thnk that clearly this did not deserve a suspension…..if you call this there will be suspensions every week…..sutton along with this hit lacked intent…neither should have received suspension…..however if there was one suspension worthy hit of the two id pick this one
-
Colin Campbell, as incompetent as Glen Sather.
-
Guess we need to sign his son from Fla before we ever get a call, eh?
-
Wow, AGAIN!!!! How can this continued to be justified??? It’s a farce to any NHL fan, not just what’s been going on against Isles players.
Adda boy Gary, your continued supervision of Colon Campbell is just another reason why you and him should be run out of the NHL! Perhaps more expansion, say URANUS..
-
Is anyone surprised? Colon(A-hole) Campbell is a dumb Canadian and he is a Ranger!!!!! That pretty much says it all…
-
Hard to really believe you that there is no bias, CB, when Colon’s actions say otherwise.
-
i actually thought dupuis was turning when sutton drilled him, so you could see it wasnt like he was dying to hurt the guy. but i thought bergenheim was facing the wall when white pounded him. felt he had more of a chance to hold up on that. but thats just me. i see it with isles colored glasses as much as campbell sees it with anti isles colored ones….fact is, if that was crosby not bergenheim, thats 5 games minimum, and thats what is wrong with the NHL….
-
laugh out loud.
campbell = JOKE
-
Maybe the rules should change and allow that kind of hitting. Then their would be no issue, just more padding for the players.
-
I have a hard time calling out Collin Campbell for bias anymore because the facts bare out that he is just plain stupid and that is something inherent that he cannot change. He gives Bettman hockey “cred” since he is part of the old boy Ontario network and therefore gets a free ride inside the NHL offices.
-
I played hockey for 32 years, some 8 in college and the minor leagues, and have never seen such ridiculous moves by players putting themselves in harms way. Bergies hit was from behind, but it looked like the support cut him as a result of the hit. It was a penalty, that is it. With Dupuis, HE should of recieved a 2 minute penalty for delay of game for bleeding all over the ice. Who teaches these IDIOTS to pull up 2 feet from the boards and turn head first bent at the waist while a 6’6″, 250 lb man is about to mush them into said boards? Players getting hit have to take some responsiblity for these injuries!!!!!
-
Chris, You ought to call the league and request an interview. Have Campbell explain, on record, his views as to the difference between the two hits. I would really love to hear his explanation. If they refuse you’d have to admit that something smells a little, wouldn’t you?
-
At worst, there is a bias against the Islanders. Dont know if I am alone, but I often find myself wondering why penalties are not called against our opponents or plays like that on Bergenheim go without further discipline. That’s usually when I say, “…of course not…Blue & Orange…we wear blue and orange.”
We must find out just what this league is using as it’s measuring stick for what determines a suspension and what doesn’t. I dont care if the infraction is by Andy Sutton, or Colin White. It can even be against a super star like Crosby. But this is an area where the NHL continues to lose credibility and it has to stop.
Players are getting seriously hurt. Look at what Cormier has done recently?
I would propose that rather then have one person making the decision, perhaps it should be a 5 person panel. A disciplinary board if you will. It should include top people. I could see LaFontaine and Richter both on such a board.
Campbell is a fool. Too much authority for one person.
-
Chris- I believe you wrote in “Fanhouse” recently that blood should not be a determinent in assessing a major penelty. As an obvious example a dirty hit can cause a bloodless fracture, where as an unintentional high stick can cause a slight cut requiring no stiches. There has to be a better, fairer way to keep the physical part of the game intact while still controlling injuries. Any suggestions?
-
No consistency ever by this guy Campbell – he needs to be replaced. He does not do a good job. The Sutton hit and Colin White hit are pretty similar…the only difference is White came from a distance to hit Bergenheim and Sutton was standing still…..what’s the next missed call/suspension…he has missed many from an Islanders standpoint, I’m sure he is missing some from other teams but this is ridiculous.
Islanders Mis-list by Campbell:
1. Gary Roberts on Kenny Jonsson in 02 Playoffs2. Tucker on Michael Peca in 02 Playoffs
3. Mike Mottau on Frans Nielsen last year
4. Colin White on Bergenheim on Sat.
*All of these should have at least received a 1 game suspension
If I am missing something please add it
-
Does Campbell get “graded”/evaulated by someone in the press?
Once the season is someone should look at who was suspended…repeat offeders…those who werent suspended….and compare Campbells actions/nonactions.
-
In my opinion this hit was worse then Sutton. As someone pointed out earlier Bergenheim did’t even have the puck. What the hell is going on. Snow needs to grow a pair and fight for this team. Bettman should also grow a pair and replace Campbell ASAP!
-
CB- how can you NOT believe there’s a bias against the Isles? How many NHL players have ever been suspended for steriods in the history of the NHL? And how many hours before a very important playoff game in Buffalo was this one suspension announced? It could’ve been handled after the post-season.
-
RE COMMENT 21:
Rated even behind NASCAR? Yeah, maybe tennis but NASCAR as far as numbers and ratings does VERY well.I wasn’t surprised. The hit was in the numbers. It warranted what it got… a game misconduct. I thought the same would of been fine for Sutton too. They were pretty similar but Whites was cleaner because of Bergie’s stance if you look a the replay.
Such a sensitive part of our game and hard to police and judge.
-
Seems like Lou has this guy in his back pocket.
I would love to see a breakdown of suspensions handed out by team and opponent. -
Both should have been suspended according to what the NHL has been talking up about hit’s to the head and protecting their players.
While these were hits from behind and many will argue that they technically weren’t direct hits to the head…anytime to you nail someone from behind, accidentally or not, when they’re hunched over playing or looking to play the puck near the boards, a serious injury can occur.Years ago, alot of this stuff was just a 2 minute penalty and the guy would have to answer the call on his next shift or someone on his team would get it.
I don’t think for a second that White nor Sutton intended to inflict harm, think everyone can agree with that. But the fact that many agree on the inconsistency of the NHL handing out punishment is deafening and they need to take notice and stop with the pulled out of the rectum rulings we’ve seen over the last few years.
-
The shame is the isles can’t do anything and the PA is a joke so were screwed….I’m sure you could find something if you examine soupys punishments i don’t know if he is bias but he’s inconsistant and in his position that is unacceptable
-
Wow. I’m not one to rant and rave against Campbell but I really don’t see how Sutton’s and White’s hits were any different.
MAYBE Sutton put a little more oomph into his, but White should be gone for at least 1 game.
Not good.
-
@BrianG/72 – Roberts and Tucker did get a game each. One measly, lonely, piddling game each. Mottau and now White, of course, have gotten even less.
Roberts and Tucker should have been out for five games each, minimum; Mottau and White should get the same penalty Sutton got. Even one game would show that the league is interested in protecting its players, not just its stars.
The real problem here is that the league is attempting to be star-driven like the NBA, instead of game-driven as it had been up until 1995. It leads to two sets of rules – the haves and the who-cares get different treatment. The Devils are a premier team, they get passes that the Isles won’t.
If the game is exciting and fun to watch then the stars will emerge through their play, not through hype and marketing. And there will always be a reason to watch an exciting sport, even if the particular game that night doesn’t have big names in it. Guys in our po-dunk house league watch games that have nothing to do with them, starring a mix of contractors, warehouse managers, patent attorneys, and cops – the sport is the thing even if the players aren’t so tremendous. But the NHL has the advantage of having the greatest players in the world. We say “he sucks” about a fringe guy like Nate Thompson or Joel Rechlicz – either of those guys would average a hat trick in our league, and be bored doing it. Vesa Toskala might allow one goal every four games on a weird deflection or a screen or because the defense in front of him is substandard. No matter who he is or who he plays for, any player deserves to be protected, and none of them should be beyond punishment for putting other players in danger.
-
The NHL needs a Colonscopy and send Colon Campbell to the Quebec Fight League!
It’s disgraceful that he doesn’t recuse himself when dealing with the Isles. It’s time for Chairman Wang to rise holy hell with Bettman, Campbell is blatant anti-Islanders.
Look at the rulings by Colie: Peca, Jonsson, Neilsen, what Pronger did get as compared to what Simon got and last but least Dion “Sloppy Seconds” Phaneuf’s across the ice head shot on Kyle Okposo from during a meaningless pre-season game!
Boo!
Hiss!
-
Nightfly, Mottau should’ve gotten the exact suspension that Thomas Pock got last year, instead he got 2 rather than 5.
-
I want to know why we should expect this. I’m disgusted and I hope to God the Isles don’t take this without a protest. The message Campbel is sending is that “its ok to go after the Isles with minimal repricusions”. If the Isles brass takes this sittin down it would be a disgrace. Garth needs to send his own message to the league that we’re not the leagues whipping boy.
-
.. Cmon is this a surprise? Colin is INEPT and should be fired ASAP!!!
.. This league is a joke, you wonder why nobody pays attn to the ‘new NHL’ (besides the low scoring, no-hitting, no REAL rivalries & lil excitement, etc) No wonder you cant find it on the TV and the ratings are lower than NASCAR + POKER!!
.. Whats sadder than Campbell is the limp wristed-lack of response by the Islander organization! CMON GARTH GRAB YOU $%@# + let the NHL brass now your not happy! Stop being so damn passive! Enuff is Enough!! CMON WAKE UP GARTH!!!!
-
sutton is a good, clean player and he still got suspended, why not White?
campbell’s arbitrary rulings have to come out of a hat or a coin flip. How long is he under contract for?
sadly, i’m not surprised.
-
yes this team is younger, faster and exciting to watch..but they are soft as jello,,the good old days of players policing themselves is long gone,,
-
This is just ridiculous. IMHO this was worse than Sutton’s. He has to removed from this post. Garth should DEMAND to hear his pitiful reasoning behind this. This is why the NHL is a joke. He just decided depending on his mood for the day. There is no rational thinking behind this. If anything it is irrational thinking. I use the term “thinking” very loosely with this a-hole.
-
…CB, I love your blog, and I admire your writing skills. I enjoy your articles on fanhouse. I would be remiss however if I didn’t say I thought you where being intellectually dishonest regarding this issue.
these incidents, or judgments just keep piling up against the Islanders and it is getting impossible to ignore IMO.
I say this with the utmost respect of course.
-
Wow this really is a joke that White gets no suspension. I don’t see how you can justify giving Sutton 2 games and not give White anything. I do agree that Snow should get an explanation from the NHL as to why Sutton got treated differently.
That being said, this is not a reason to start in on the Isles for being soft. These kinds of hits happen to all teams, whether they have enforcers or not, so lets get away from that useless argument.
-
Yeah, pretty much what everybody ^^ above me says.
Just like when the puck goes over the glass without touching its an automatic delay of game, there need to be clear rules for the other stuff as well.
And the accountability has to start at the top.
Why this is not currently being done – or worked on – is beyond me.
-
Shocked, I am SHOCKED to find out that there is gambling going on in this casino! I think every Islanders fan expected this to happen.
-
The fact of the matter is White had time to stop but instead he took an extra stride, with Bergys back towards him, and checked him behind, face first into the boards. It was a deliberate attack, even tho he’s not known as a dirty player it was a dirtier play than Suttoms. Suts hit was nastier but he didn’t have time to pull up and change his mind. Whites hit was almost permeditated, for lack of a better word. White was 2 strides behind Bergy. Sutton was in the middle of a check when Dupuis turned at the blink of an eye so he was unable to stop. White saw bergys back, and he went for it.
This is bogus, CB. We need to stick up for our Islanders! Afterall, we’re all Islanders. We need to stick up for our own. Enough with being politically correct and call Campbell out, please Chris. Howard stern is the King of all Media by not being affraid to challenge the establishment. You can take this blog to new hights, IMHO.
We love this sight but I think most of us disagree that there isn’t any bias towards the leagues door mat, the Isles
-
The NHL wheel of justice rears its ugly head the Isles once again
Is anyone truly surprised? I am disappointed but not surprised at all!!
Campbell sucks!!
-
Does anybody know where the money goes?
Do the players just not get paid? Meaning the owner keeps the money.
Does the league have an account where these funds are paid, post withholding?
I think Simon’s suspensions (while and Islander) cost him close to $500k… where did that go… I know I didn’t get any of it. -
Because Lou said so, that’s why…
They say the squeaky wheel gets the grease, maybe Snow isn’t yelling loud enough.
Some one posted a list of the most prominent offenders to Isles players, there is a theme their, there is Lou’s team & Toronto. It is widely accepted that the NHL is run by an “Old Boys Club”, Snow & Wang just have not gotten into the club yet.
Milbury couldn’t get within 100′ feet of that club. ( by court order, i think ) -
All I know is Bettman better watch his back. It is only a matter of time before Vince McMahon steals Cambell away.
-
it’s easy to rant and rave about sutton getting 2 games versus white getting no games. i firmly disagree with a suspension for sutton, and i also firmly disagree with a suspension for white. a hockey player knows that when he has control of the puck, and hes 2 feet away from facing the boards, he puts himself in a very vulnerable position. there’s a chance his face is going to get smashed into the boards. but theres a better chance the player wont touch him. hockey players use the rules today to get an upper hand on offense because they know the rules protect them. if you’re defending someone in the corner, you cannot take one hand off the stick and place it on the puck carrier without worrying that you may be called for a holding call. yes, it may slow down the game by easing up on these calls, but at the same time it will encourage more 1-on-1 battles in the corner, and will also stop a large amount of dangerous hits along the boards, because players know that they cannot duck down and protect the puck until they get support from the team.
don’t try to discourage bad play with penalties for every little thing, and suspensions. you need to discourage bad play with easing up on the penalties. players will react to this because they know they cant take these liberties because theyll cough up the puck because of a clean hit or because they were overpowered.
the bottom line is that players now play the game in order to draw penalties way too much. and players know what theyre doing. ease up on all these dumb holding and obstruction penalties, and we will see a stronger, cleaner game.
-
A colonoscopy would be the most direct route to Colon Campbell’s brain.
-
Campbell is like the Harvey Dent of professional sports. Flipping coins for judgment calls.
-
Campbell was overhead saying
The Islander guy didn’t bleed enough for a suspension.
-
101 Dan, I hope you’re joking, I wouldn’t be surprised tho
-
“This was never in doubt, of course.”
Maybe I dont get it CB but it doesn’t come across like you don’t see a problem with it. Sarcasm is hard to read in text but I’m pretty fluent in it and your tag line is rank with it, yet you claim to not see it in his decisions? Keep up the good work either way, go Isles!
-
To steal a line from Mad Mike:
“Somewhere a village is missing it’s idiot”
-
RobC- I was joking- sorry for any confusion.
-
derek, thanks for the correction. At this point it begins to work backwards in my mind, which is why I forgot that Mottau got a sit-down. At this point I could watch the ’93 playoffs and Hunter would only get two games. I need to lie down someplace quiet.
-
Let’s remove the hockey part to this Colin consistency problem and think in real world terms. I work in human resources an we have established policies and procedures. Especially for conduct on the job. All infractions are dealt with the same with clear cut guidelines, rules and punishment. Our CEO doesn’t get one set. VP’s another and so on. EVERYOnE is treated the same and punished he same. Do you realize the law suits problems etc that I would deal with if I didn’t treat everyone the same. Fired. That’s right. My ass would be out the door. Why is the NHL and most specifically Colon allowed to run things this way. Sorry cb. I have to disagree he isles get the short end of the stick. Much worse than the rest of the league.
-
Isles fans should stage a protest outside the NHL offices in NYC. Sooner or later Colin has to walk past our menacing crowd and answer for all of this… YOUTUBE stand by…
-
The NHL’s credibility is already in ruins especially since the Burrows accusation and reports that Canadian based teams get much better treatment from Campbell’s office, too bad they ruined a great sport.

Seriously? How can Colon and Buttman justify this one? How was Colin White’s hit CLEANER than Andy Suttons?
