ROLOSON OFFERS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
NYI continue to accept pitches for goalies
12:15 am, NVMC: When Garth Snow prepared to close up shop at his Nassau Coliseum office for the night, he’d yet to receive an offer for Dwayne Roloson that was strong enough to seriously consider.
Point Blank has learned that the best offer for Roloson as of late Tuesday night was a third round pick. Unless the proposals improve, Roloson will remain an Islander.
It makes little sense to move Roloson - arguably the Islanders’ most valuable player this season, showing no signs of slowing down at age 40 - for just a third round pick.
With more cap space than every Cup contender combined, Snow also has the option of using it to his team’s advantage. (The Cristobal Huet option I wrote about on the blog on Feb. 25 certainly has taken on a life of its own on Twitter).
My friend Elliotte Friedman of “Hockey Night in Canada” has written that the Blackhawks really want Tomas Vokoun from Florida, but Snow could benefit by giving Chicago cap relief in a separate deal.
The more complicated deals get as 3:00 pm EST approaches, the more likely they are to crater.
If a Roloson trade does not work out, the Islanders will consider their highest bids for Martin Biron. Snow will not give Roloson or Biron away.
The Islanders are planning to hit the ice for practice today at noon. There’s a chance not everyone on the current roster will make it.
*
In other news, I’m told the Islanders should be able to provide an update on Rick DiPietro sometime today.

Glad to hear this news CB. Don’t cave Garth!
I wonder if tonight’s game changes things. Chicago’s Goaltending looked terrible. You would think they would part w/ atleast a 2nd rd pick if the Vokoun deal falls apart. Also I can’t believe Philly would be stupid enough to trust Michael Leighton to win a Cup this year. Is Washington happy w/ their shabby Goaltending? There just aren’t that many good Goalies out there to rent. I agree don’t trade Roloson for less than a 2nd rd pick. Don’t trade Biron for less than a 4th rd pick. Park & Sim looked good tonight. Could they be traded for a late rd pick?
I hope Snow keeps Roloson unless a better deal comes. The Huet deal sounds interesting, but if nobody decides to up the ante on Roloson, then even if Biron gets traded then we are stuck with 3 goaltenders next season costing over $12 million. What would happen then? Will Wang be willing to spend that much money keeping a goalie on the bench or in Bridgeport?
Good for Snow. It’d be a bad move to let Rolo go for a 3rd rounder. Lets see what happens tomorrow.
BTW Chris, adjust your timeline on the article. You have it as today at noon, which is still a few hours away. I know, it’s been a long day.
Ha! Thanks…CB
mark my words … Rolo for a #2
vokoun refuses to waive no trade clause just drove up the price for roloson. if chicago wants to win a cup they will have to pay.
Unless the Isles get a 1st rd pick (which would be a low 1st rd pick since the trade would come from a playoff team) keep Roloson. He’s been very good & does anyone have confidence that DP will be healthy next year? (or ever)
What is the history of a third rounder making it in the NHL (500+ games)? If that’s the best offer, keep Roli.
Cheeky jerks trying to get Roloson for a 3rd. Philly has no 1 or 2 but c’mon. It is crystal clear that Phil or Chi will face a quick playoff exit in thier current situation. Not sure who else might be involved but advancing in the playoffs is worth a lot of cash to teams so their offers are insulting. Rolo on either team or Wash could equal cup.
Any update on Bergy Chris?
Hoping for lots of positive action tomorrow.
Agree on Roloson. A 3rd is not enough for a guy who could help you win a Cup. If a contender can’t come up with more than that then tell ‘em take a hike.
After what I saw in the Blackhawks’ crease tonite, they better do something by 3:00 p.m. tomorrow.
to hell with the teams who think they can rip us off in a trade that will HIGHLY benefit them (when we all know it) and give us nothing. A 3rd round pick for someone playing as well as Roloson now, for teams with HORRIBLE goaltending situations, theyre either stupid or think the islanders dont know how much bargaining power they have…good luck in the playoffs with huet blackhawks!!! LMAO! Nothing short of a good NHLer and 2nd round pick, or first round pick and prospect!
Again, it’s not about what type of player you can get with the 3rd rounder. It’s about accumulating assets to the point where you can package those assets together for something substantial. Case in point, Garth’s ability to move up in the draft last year to take De Haan, with the ability to package all those picks together.
To be honest a 3rd round pick for Roloson is quite insulting. Not even close to a good offer. Keeping Roloson through next year would be a good idea.
Chicago should trade for Roloson or they will be out in the 1st round of the playoffs with that horrible goaltending.
Enough with the picks - Snow needs to get some prospects
Nabakov does not look good tonight - Biron would be a solid insurance policy for SJ…Biron could be headed to SJ, LA, or Buffalo…Lalime is another horrible goalie
TRADE BOTH GOALIES
if the possibility of taking huet of chicago hands is an option they need to pony up alot more than a number one pick. chcago has to dump salary to keep most there YOUNG team intact. not only would roli give them the best chance at a cup there cap problem would be solved. this avoids any panic move at the draft to dump salary. if the huet rumor has legs we need to get back a 2rd pick a roster player and a prospect (pref active dman). you here gms sayng asking prices are high and holding deals back. but in this situation we have the advantage and being only a few teams that can take on salary that is worth alot more then people realize.
Strumm: Sean was a healthy scratch. He has 0 points in his last 14 games…CB
do not cave Garth… better offers will come in later in the day… and if they don’t…DO NOT TRADE FOR A LOW END RETURN! LET THE DEADLINE PASS THEN!
If Roloson is apparently worth a 3rd rounder, what is Biron worth? A fifth? Bump that. With returns like that it almost makes sense to try and take on a goal scorer and make a push for the playoffs with the Biron/Roloson tandem. Or else, Snow could make a move for the future and package two second rounders and a player and try and pick up Dan Hamhuis. All that would make as much sense as trading Roloson and Biron for a thrid and a fifth or worse.
Were I Snow, I would push for the “Huet Option” and then, pending discovery of DiPietro’s health, look for a 1B goalie in free agency to setup a decent tandem in goal. The possibility of picking up one of Chicago’s up and coming players makes it a no brainer to at least ask Stan Bowman about it. Given the offers for Roloson, though, the “Huet Option” probably wouldn’t work out nearly as well as everyone thinks/hopes it could.
Chicago will not lose in the first round of the playoffs with Huet, but Vancouver will maybe upset them in the 2nd round. I still think they can get to the finals with Huet, but I dont know if they can win a cup with him. Keep Rolli, we need a starter next season! DP and Biron are the not the solution to that and I dont care who is available this summer, what are the chances we get someone as good as Roli? I am sure chicago would give up there first round draft pick for a run at the cup, but would they give up a #1 and Ladd which I think is fair for roli since hes not a free agent, Im not sure. Maybe they will. Bufgyuglien is the guy I REALLY want but we might have to wait until this summer or after to have any chance at him. I hope roli stays. Lets see what we can get for Sim, Tambellini, Bergenheim, Hunter, Park.
1st of all thank you very, very much CB. 2nd hope Sutty comes back soon 3rd both rollie and marty should stay… ricky is talented but im tired of the drama. GO ISLES
Good job Snow, stay put for now
Snow is in a great position here cuz really he doesnt have to trade Rollie as much as other teams need to trade FOR Rollie. If I am Snow I see what is the most I can get on this deal.
The idea of trading with Chicago could be great, cuz we all know they need cap space and we could add a pick and a decent player and possibly get Huet? That would be a pretty good deal for the Isles
On the other hand, if something doesn’t wow Snow, than I have no issues with Rollie staying an Islander.
jeez a 3rd rounder? I realize he’s 40, but he’s played really well this year, and he has a reasonable contract for next year. The minimum Snow should accept is a high 2nd/late 1st and a prospect/young NHL player with upside. Even that may not be enough.
Worst case scenario, he doesn’t get traded & he plays great next year when hopefully the NYI are a bit closer to making a serious push for the playoffs. Wait a minute, this may also be the best case scenario.
Isn’t it clear yet that they won’t get a player and a pick? why are we still dreaming guys? At the very best that 3RD ROUNDER will elevate to a 1st OR a player! Your just setting yourself up to go into histerics again when Snow goes for another 2nd rounder!
I say keep him, regardless. In my book, you try to hold on to your good players.
Let Rollie stay and see what happens this year. I know most of us have resigned ourselves to no playoffs again
this year, I think this team has something left. They played some great hockey this year, they can get hot again. Plus get the Rollie/Biron combo back, seemed to have better chemistry for the team.
Trading Roloson, clearly the Isles MVP, would be quitting on the season, especially with Dipietro on the shelf. Biron is what he is, an average goalie.
The Isles talk about how improved they are. Well, last year they had goalies named McDonald, Denis et al. in net. This year they are getting tremendous goaltending. Further, last years team was decimated by injuries of historic proportions.
Put Roloson in net last year, and limit some of the injuries…….that team would have been just as good as this years team.
Good post Matt in Tucson. I’m glad to see someone here has some sense. A prospect OR 2nd rounder is the best we can hope for. Anything more and that GM gets robbed.
3rd rounder is insult. Not going to happen. Unlike sutton whom is ufa at season end roloson is a legitamite stanley cup goalie. Vokoun is only other start goalie out there but will require more to acquire.
So as far as I’m concerned you have chi, philly and wash all dying for a goalie and only 2 goalie available.
Snow is not dumb. Worst case we have roloson next year at 2.5mm. And tavares will be scoring 40.
Fun fact; isles have beaten hawks last 5 game. Last chi win was 2002.
Would think stakes for Roli go up today after his performance last night and with Philly and Chicago getting a bit desperate. Worst case scenario we hang onto him as a good value for next year.
I love garths thinking. Don’t trade for the sake of trading. You have to think one of these teams may panic and push the button. I like the scenario best where we keep Rollie and maybe provide some cap relief and steal a player.
I say keep Roli unless you get something better than a 3rd for him. Besides, we have him locked up for another year. So if we dont move him now its not like he is is leaving in the offseason.
I guess we’ll see what happens.
I just have a feeling we are being told a 3rd round pick just so that when we get a 2nd round pick the fans don’t get crazy.
That’s my opinion.
I can’t see a straight swap of Rollie for a draft pick. I believe if he is dealt, it will be part of a larger trade.
Garth,
Hold out for something that clearly is a good deal regarding Roloson.
2nd rounder doesn’t make sense! We need a talented body that will fit into our system, has size and intelligence!
How much is a 40 year old goalie with a year plus left on his contract worth? With the exception of his 2006 run with the Oilers that ended up him injured in the finals, Roloson doesn’t have much of a track record in the playoffs. In the Black hawks eyes, he may not be any different than Huet: a decent enough goalie but can you really count on him? A third is too low but would a second plus maybe another lower be enough (maybe conditional like the Guerin trade was last year)??? I don’t think there were teams falling all over themselves to sign Roloson last summer..has that changed now?
pleeeeease, the trade that occurs won’t take place because Garth is on the message board here asking for advice. He’ll do the right thing; and none of us have an inkling as to whom he’s talking to or what he’s been offered. It’s all speculation…
Wait and see today…
Hold on to your hats folks…
It’s going to be a wild ride, for sure. If Garth makes some moves, this board will explode. If Garth doesn’t make a move this board will explode. Either way, I can’t wait to see what happens on the day GMs lose their brains.
Smart move not trading Rollie for a 3rd rounder. C’mon Garth, make us proud. Please either make some good trades or sign some quality free agents this offseason to help the young guys out. This team has been down for too long now.
I think we should trade Roli for the big defenseman we lack. A guy with some experience who can guide the development of the younger players for a couple years but who is still mobile. Someone who would have blocked maybe 3 or 5 of 22 those first period shots last night. Someone who rarely takes stupid penalties and shows some emotions on the ice …..maybe even breaking his stick across the crossbar when Jon Sim makes a stupid play. Oh…… thats right we already had him ………we got the 60th pick for him. Well maybe that 60th pick will develop into Jon Sim in 4 or 5 years!! Great job!
It will not be an interesting day in Islander land. If a 3rd is the best thats being offered, and thats from a legit cup team, forget it. That would be pick 85-90. AND Garth will not trade for a player. Its been 3 years since the Cryin Ryan trade, and Garth hasnt brought back a player since (I dont count Mccamond -he was a throw in). So go to work, go to sleep, whatever our schedules call for and know that nothing will be done.
Keep Rolosson, pleeeeeeeeeeeease
I agree I would not let either go really unless there was a good deal or if Biron wants to go. I like both goalies. I would not let Roli go for even a 2nd rounder. He still can be valuable next year to this team. He signed here for 2 years so he knew what he was getting into… I say keep him. If I was Snow I would say Guerin was the missing piece last year for the Pens Rolie could get you the cup so pony up!!
Keep Roloson unless you can get a young player with upside like Versteeg or a 1st rounder. Anything less than a 1st rounder and/or an established young player would be a waste. Roloson can be a difference maker. And if not we could ride him to the playoffs next year. It all depends on how desperate or how other teams evalute Roloson as a difference maker or the final piece. Because if he is just an insurance policy (ie:San Jose), then you will not get more than a 2nd rounder. However,if Chicago cannot secure Voukon or Philly and Washington realize that you most likely cannot ride a rookie to playoff success, then we win and get a first rd maybe more for Rolie.
A 3rd rounder….thats laughable.
Rolo is a big reason this team has won the games it has.
CB-looking forward towards your work today….
I’m going on NHL Home Ice sat radio with Mike Ross at 9:15 am today…CB
I saw that Sutton has played in only 4playoff games in his career. At this point in his career, why resign for a rebuild. A second rounder for 20 games of Andy Sutton is a nice return. However, Rollie is worth a one. He is a solid starter and ever a decent value as a backup.
I’m sure Garth has a minimum value that he will accept for Roli. If he gets it, he makes the deal and rides the season with Biron and (maybe) DP. In the off season, he can readdress the G situation.
If he doesn’t get the value in an offer, he can move Biron for a lower round pick, which can always be used as a sweetener to move up on draft day.
Either way, he’s in the driver’s seat.
Keep Roloson unless the price is right. Try and move Biron so we can at least get some compensation as Garth had planned all along. Something’s gotta give with DP. Will be interesting to hear what the announcement is on this today. I’m praying it’s his retirement but I’d bet the farm he claims he’s fine and it’s a minor tweak. DP should not be the Goalie for this rebuild. Mikko/Poulin are the future. Next year they should be given a chance to prove their worth and gain some experience.
…hold tight Garth. Low balling an offer for a goalie that could very well be the difference in going deep in the playoffs…..we do not need to trade Rollie. Screw em. First round exit for Philly and Chicago. Nice.
The offers for Rollo aren’t good enough? That doesn’t mean anything. The offers weren’t good enough for Sutton either, but Snow took a garbage pick in exchange for Sutton anyway. Rollo will be traded. I just hope its not for another late second rounder or worse.
Since teams can’t send money with players I am very suprised botta thinks isles would take a high priced veteran n pay that player. Botta n most fans can see the truth. Wang is penny pinching. No chance in he’ll this happens.
I think Isles fans have come to appreciate “Roli the Goalie”, I sure have. He’s cool, calm, and collected but also plays with fire and passion to win. He’s a true competitor with great ability at 40 yrs young. I would like him to stay unless Garth can get something for him that will help the rebuild. A 3rd rounder isn’t worth it and even a 2nd rounder wouldn’t be worth losing him. He’s a leader who the players feel comfortable playing in from of. Let’s keep the grizzled vet. He brings too many intangibles that benifit the Isles
XM reports Garth Snow is trying to grab Brad Boyes from St. Louis. Any insight on that CB? What do you think they will give up for a guy with two years left and has 8.5 left on his contract?
Garth is in a position of strength presently. Rollie is cheap, playing well, and his steadying presence is a benefit for the team maturing in front of him. I’m not concenred if Rollie doesn’t go, but if he does, it will be for a decent price. Rollie will bring back more than a 2nd rounder, if he goes.
As for the rest of the team, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next 5 hours and 18 minutes.
Maybe roli and bergie for a player who can help them now? Boyes would be a nice addition.
Boyes would defintely be a nice pickup…guy is a definite top 6 forward that they need desperately
McKenzie tweeting that Bergy is on the block - I guess not just a healthy scratch
No worries fans! Genius Garth will bring us great things! Thank goodness Garth is our GM! He is a top 5 GM! lol! Face it the organization is a JOKE! We got lucky last night! Comeau is really not that good! He will go back to 5g 3a in 50 games! Yay Isles Hockey Wooo!
Big market for forwards who can’t even crack the Islanders lineup. If we get a bag of pucks for Bergie, Snowman made a great deal
TSN reports Bergenheim is being shopped around today. Another failed Milbury draft pick in the 1st round.
Does Bergie have any value left in him?
CB - if Snow trades both goalies anyway he tries to trade with Vancouver for a young goalie like Cory Schneider?
Oh my. If Garth read all our comments he would never get any work done. Sorry to Sutton go, but we have to keep Roli! Theteam plays better in front of him and Biron, generally. All you have to do is watch him direct the game - not try to make flashy saves which end in rebound to the other guys. If DP’s knee is swollen and tender after a full week of practice after time off (including a vacation - hey he just got back) what is that knee going to be like after playing and practicing full time? Mush, that’s what. And if anywone thinks Chas.Wang is penny pinching, wait till all the season holders don’t renew because of the horrendous price increases. And a possible $15 to park. Help!
Is this the calm before the storm?
Steve (#59) - On a good team that already has plenty of guys who can score, Bergie has value an energy guy on a checking line. Unfortunately for the Isles, he’s one of about 9 guys who are suited to a 3rd/4th line role. Of course, the value for a guy like that is probably about a 4th to 5th round draft pick.
I hope Snow is taking the position that he’s keeping Rolie unless he gets absolutely blown away by an offer. With all of the young players the Isles have, its good for their development to have a goalie that is capable of covering up for their mistakes in the defensive zone.
re: post 59 - not if people keep thinking of him as a 1st rd pick
One of the only ways we can add assets is providing cap relief to other teams. Face it. Nobody wants to sign here as a UFA… thats not just a myth, its the truth. This franchise is a circus, and we’re not going anywhere any time soon.. If we could land a versteeg by taking on huet, its a deal that should be made. Its really that simple. We’re flirting with the cap floor here people. Roloson wont be here by the time we’re competitive (if ever) Get over it
Bergy is worth future considerations, in my opinion. He has zero hands and although being fast he blows a tire especially on odd-man rushes…
#62 hit the nail on the head. 35 goals in 229 career games at age 26 means you’re a 3rd or 4th liner. Injuries have hindered development.
Some of you are failing to realize Chicagos’ major cap issues. We can get more than just a prospect or a pick for Rollie if we also agree to take someone to relieve their cap space.
That I am sure would be part of the deal, those of you bashing people who feel we could get a pick and prospect or a proven player are failing to realize that Chicago is looking for cap relief and in that situation the Islanders can end up getting more for Rollie than what he may be worth.
Per Spector’s rumors:
“CBC’S Elliotte Friedman reports Blackhawks consultant Scotty Bowman said the club isn’t shopping for a goaltender. “
edmonton almost won lord stanley because of this guy. No less than a late first rounder.
Off the cuff really glad to see jackman and hillen(future all star) back.
What was up with that move ko put on huet on break away?
Did he think he at practice?
Bruins send Derek Morris to Phoenix for a conditional pick.
Wow…Derek Morris for a 4th round pick next year?
For all those looking to lynch Snow for the Sutton move - Morris to B’s for a 4th rounder in 2011.
Wow. 4th round ipick in 2011 for Morris?!? I didn’t think he was THAT bad.
Way to go Garth for netting a 2nd rd for Sutton!
The market dictates not us.But Chicago will lose in the first round with there goaltending, and I’ll be watching and laughing. Were they watching last nights game?
on twitter, brooks just wrote that there is a lot of interest aorund the league in richard park…im not sure why
Rollie is worth more then a 3rd rounder, but it just goes to show what every GM in the NHL thinks of Snow. Lets not offer him a body, lets insult him with a 3rd round pick. How many more times can he get fleeced before he realizes it. Bring Torre back for 1 year and give Snow a crayon and paper to take notes.
Alex G…prolly as a fourth line penalty kill guy
Isles interested in Andrew Cogliano from Edmonton and Bergenheim IS on the block accoridng to TSN’s twitter.
Park will get a 5th - 9th round pick not worth it keep him….
Bergy could snatch a 2nd, Park maybe a 3rd or 4th if lucky.
If true, what could we get for Park. I am thinking a 4th or 5th round pick.
Bergy a 2nd??? What has this guy accomplished in his HOF career.. The guy is a 3rd 4th liner…
No way Bergie nets a 2nd.
Devils get D Martin Skoula from Toronto for a conditional pick per TSN
Bob McKenzie has tweeted that most of the interest on LI is in Biron, Bergenheim and Park. And I can’t believe the Isles missed out on Tony Hrkac, LOL.
RT @TSNBobmckenzie: Marty Biron, Sean Bergenheim and Richard Park drawing most of the interest on Long Island.
i would think there would be a pretty decent interest in park. smart player, veteran, cheap, can win a faceoff, kill penaltiies. i dont see why we wouldnt get a 4th for him. i would package a 5th and park for a 3rd. considering our 5th will likely be in the top part of the draft.
every deadline we wait for a move, a big one and get nothing……
I really believe last night’s game could have helped Roloson stay an Islander. The fact is, we were humming along pretty good in January. We had a bad losing streak, but for the most part, we weren’t being blown out. While this team is no Cup contender, we’re certainly not as piss poor as many think on this board. We have the makings of an average offense, good young D, and two solid checking lines. If we won, say, 2 of those 7 games straight we lost, we’d be one stinking point out of the playoffs. 3 of 7, we’d be in the 8th spot. While I don’t want to go out and trade youth for vets, I’d like to see what this team, with a solid veteran goalie like Roli, can do down the stretch. The Isles future won’t crumble with one less second-round pick, at best. And we would then know we’d have Roli for another season by doing absolutely nothing. Trade Biron for a 3rd, and let’s just see the kids in a playoff push. Could be a crucial step and learning experience. Can’t discount that.
I’m wondering if all those taking fickle shots at Snow were also signing him praises when the team was rolling in early January and making a run at a playoff spot.
Snow’s done a good job to date under the circumstances he’s had to work with (low payroll; new arena talks, etc.), and the 2nd-rounder he got yesterday for Sutton was a good deal as well.
There’s nothing wrong with stockpiling picks; all good GMs do it. And they don’t necessarily have to be used in the draft; they can be used as bargaining chips for bigger trades.
I for one think Snow’s approach is a breath of fresh air compared to the previous regime’s philosophy of players coming through a revolving door.
That all said, a 3rd pick for Roloson is not enough. Dwayne is under a reasonable contract for next year and has shown no sign of wear.
If the offers don’t improve, Biron will likely get moved for a low pick and Rollie will be the guy the rest of this year and next.
Chris, come on. It’s 11:22 AM on deadline day and you haven’t posted yet. You’re the only one with any legitimate connections, can you please provide an update? Pretty please?
If McKenzie is right, it looks like we will end the day with a bunch of 4th-6th round picks.
Everyone please note that Bergenheim had 15 goals in 59 games last year , so he is capable of 20 a year, He is 26 y/o, low salary, low risk, plays hard, bangs, kills penalties. The latter being very important. Not a superstar but a good penalty killer/energy line guy who is 26 with a moderately low salary and possibly high upside. I hope you guys are around to say you were right.
I’ve never been that big of a fan of Richard Park, so I won’t tear up to see him go. Low upside but high work ethic, so his departure should open up a spot for someone with greater skills. Bergy has a higher upside…with a change of scenery, he could turn it around. Funny how Raffi Torres might garner a 1st rounder?! Hm.
i just dont see us being big players today, we dont have real value to offer, Sutton is a nice player, but he is 35 and it seems like he is a typical UFA has a big year his contract year. John Sim, Richard Park they really offer nothing.
#96 Hunter had 24g about four years ago!!! Hunter’s year was a FLUKE! Hunter is a grinder 3rd 4th line guy! Bergy = Hunter only faster…
Now is the time to dump Witt for a 4th
Need more for Rolo…..if not keep him.
Take anything you can get for Park-Make Room for Juonsoo and Maybe Martin. Park will be available for Minimum $ in FA.
Anyone notice that Jackman created space that helped Isles last night
Looking at the trades being made today, I think we got decent value for Sutton. Morris for a 4th round pick and Skoula for a 5th rounder. Not bad to get a second for Sutton.
Boston acquires Seidenberg and Bartowski from Florida for Craig Weller, Byron Bitz and a 2nd round pick per TSN.
Hunter has another 4 years on his deal, he is not going anywhere
What Hunter does for this team is not something you usually see on the scoresheet, He grinds, he is the best grinder on the team, that is invaluable to the team and most dont realize it
Friends: you cannot compare Morris and Skoula this season to how Sutton played for the Islanders this season. Apples and oranges…CB
Florida getting a 2nd and Bitz for Seidenberg is a more apt comparison…CB
I say by the end of the day today…matt martin will back on long island
Chris - what about giving Rollie an extension for another year??
Hang up DP.
I have to echo what Chris J #38 said.
Any word on D.P. and his swelling? If he is going to play 1 game then be on the shelf for 3 months, how can we possibly do without Rollo? look at chicago. One of the best teams in the league and we beat them pretty soundly, why? GOALTENDING!!!! P.S. If Rick’s knee did not heal in 2 years, ain’t gonna happen at all.
