If the Isles can beat the Devs they should be able to beat the Leafs. The word of note being “should”.

I hate the leafs, not as much as the rags but pretty close. Anyway Martin could take another stride in his cult status with a clean layout(or dirty,not hoping but hey just sayin!) of Phaneuf tonight.That Darcy Tucker cheap shot in the playoffs is forever cemented in my brain and helps fuel the dislike. Would like this win tonight.

Yeah, in reality Phaneuf is just the little baby behind the facemask. I’d like to see SOMEONE stand up to him… at least challenge him and make him look scared. Make the game interesting.

I’m sure Okie has not forgot Phaneuf’s potentially career-ending cheapshot…. which happened in a preseason game no less. He personally needs to have at least a few words with the guy. Isles played hard last night, I hope they have some energy left for this one…

#31 – exactly. The both of them play dirty and never answer for it unless they’re cornered. No doubt it would be Gillies/Martin vs. Orr if either of them started something with Phaneuf. I’d like to see a win today, but I’d settle for numerous highlights of Phaneuf being punched in the head by Gillies… On second thought, I would really like a win that includes numerous highlights of Phaneuf being punched in the head by Gillies. That would be ideal.

IslesYanks (34) Martin has played in every game this year although he may have missed a game early in the season. He was held out of last night’s game against Norfolk for an apparent call up. Long Story short, he’s a huge piece of the puzzle for BPT.

Loving Matt Martin! Seriously, with him and Gillies the entire team is playing more aggressively and it is fun to watch. too many games this year were no fun.

I’m telling you…work on MM’s skating all summer, put him on a line with Tavares and watch JT score 40 goals next year when he doesn’t have to worry about counting his teeth after every shift.

I’ve seen Dion back down several times tonight and love it but hate him.
Gordon is making the same mistake he always does with his enforcers….he’s allowing them “to get cold”. Then you know he won’t play them when needed becuase it wouldn’t be fair etc. Gotta give them a semi-regular shift.
