MAYBE Baily becomes a 22 goals a year, 35 assist player..SOMEDAY. Problem is, he has no physical game, doesnt throw the body, and other teams are developing 80+ point players as I speak.

Love the sound of the skate sharpener in the background.

I hope he takes another step forward this year at wing. I think he does. This kid is so likable and there’s so much skill i feel we’ve yet to see.
When you asked him about favorite places I was hoping he’d say RVC haha!

REALLY excited about this season…

So young, lots of potential yet to be seen!

Thanks CB! This still shot of you 2 before you play the video makes you both look gangsta!

Bailey definitely looks like he’s filled out; I don’t it’s a stretch to say he reaches the 20 goal plateau; and with his hands and vision, I’d bet on between 25-30 assists as well. The Isles are teeming with talent, and if Bailey, Comeau, Schremp, Nielsen, Okposo and Tavares all improve on their point totals from last season as expected, then this team will be dangerous. I say a 10-15 point jump overall from last season’s 79.

Really excited about JB. Showed really nice progression last year…should top 20 goals with ease in 2010-11.
CB…Point Blank is better than ever. You simply can’t find this type of legit insight anywhere else. Awesome job, like with Howard Stern and the NFL Sunday Ticket, I don’t know what I’d without this site! Thanks man.

Bailey really needs to step his physical game up. He lacks a mean streak and a physical side most of our younger guys have.
-
tavares has a physical side? how bout moulsen? neilsen? hillen? gervais?? dehaan?
who are these young guys that are so phsical? maybe okposo? maybe martin if he sticks?? we need a lot more toughness on this team… not only from bailey…

one year older (but still only 20!), bigger, stronger and more confident.
‘manowar on’ up there may be close on the goal tally (though i think 25-28 can happen), but we’ve seen glimpses of serious passing skills from the kid and with the talent around him growing also, i think he’s capable of bagging more than 35 assists. a lot more. that’s why i say put the kid back at center and let him feed the fire. -
My Wish – Josh Bailey becomes just like Mike Richards.
I think JB definately can score over 20G this year.

Josh is an excellent playmaker, and the rare times he shoots, the pucks go in. So more shooting Josh! Looking at 25 goals and 40 assists from him. Is it Oct.9th yet???

With 16 goals last year, you’d figure 20 to be a realistic number for this year. The thing is, you can say that about a lot of the Isles…Comeau had 17, KO had 19, Schremp seemed to have it figured out before he got hurt. While some of these guys will probably take the next step, others will probably take a step back. Just seems to come with the territory of having a very young, unpredictable team. Looking forward to seeing who really brings it this year…lot of contracts up for grabs after this season, so there’s plenty at stake for a lot of these guys.

he’s too small..time to play a bit dirty

The kid is getting bigger, he will get more physical. Is he even old enough to drink yet?
I would love to see him paired up with Tavares. Bailey’s passing skills, Taavres finishing skills would be lethal.
Also I am surprised so many of the guys are living in Westbury. Thought they would be closer to the beach.

Looks like Josh for sure bulked up a bit. Good to see.
-
JB is looking more and more like man. He’s gonna be a great islander.

I’m not a huge Bailey fan. I think of all our young forwards — Tavares, Moulson, Okposo, Comeau, Neilson — Bailey is the most likely to disappoint.
Seems like a good kid; I hope he proves me wrong!

Looks like he packed on some weight, that’ll help him in the corners and in front of the net. Look for him to have a breakout year.
