SIM ON WAIVERS; JURCINA OUT 2-4 WEEKS
Briere gets 3-game suspension for actions vs NYI

by Chris Botta on November 1st, 2010 at 11:36 am

NHL FanHouse’s Best of the Week

Jurcina’s hamstring injury sidelines lines him for 2-4 weeks. Assuming he clears, Sim would go to Bridgeport. Rob Schremp returns to the lineup on Wednesday in Carolina. Briere will miss the rematch on Saturday.

Briere gets 3-game suspension for actions vs NYI

  1. avatar isles79-83 says:

Wow. Shocker. I truly expected he would get one game at most.
Carcillo should have also had discipline as his hit was a “blind side” from behind hit.

  2. avatar Kaszycki's Krew says:

Surprised it was for 3 games…..bet it would have been for 2 if the Flyers and the Isles did not meet again so soon….

  3. avatar Schultz39 says:

Agree on that one….finally a suspension goes the way of the NYI. I still expect to see some retribution on Saturday night.

  4. avatar Matt says:

Bring up Jablonski for Saturday. Gillies, Martin, Jablonski…. Goon Squad

  5. avatar cgs878 says:

Carcillo still “needs his” from Konopka or Gilles. Can a 2-on-1 fight get all players a few games’ suspension? It would be worth it if Carcillo ended up with a concussion or broken arse.

  6. avatar MJS says:

The suspension was totally appropriate.I the league wanted to get rid of this crap it would’ve been longer, but i digress. Carcillo definitely should have gotten at least a game for his part, but given who handles the discipline for the league it’s not surprising that he didn’t.

  7. avatar Joe says:

Just enough games for the girl to avoid retribution Saturday night. I hope someone puts Carcillo in the hospital.

  8. avatar Strummer's Army says:

I agree with number 2, it wouldn’t have been so long except they want him out on Sat.

It still is not long enough. Apparently hits to the head with a weapon are no biggie.

CB, has any of the Isles penalties during the game been reversed or the officiating crew been talked to during their weekly reviews?

  9. avatar Jediwars says:

Somebody did that to me I’d be finding them off ice with a basebal to the knees. These hockey players are a forgiving bunch.

  10. avatar Madchef says:

Figures they keep him out for the next meet on Saturday

  11. avatar HandlangerV2 says:

Damn it! I wanted Gillies to beat the crap out of him. Yes I dont care he’s not a fighter. I would send Gillies right after this cinderella smurf to leave a message…

  12. avatar Will C. says:

I agree with Matt, Bring up Jablonski, he has cut down taller trees than Pronger. That would be a good response that we will not be pushed around. Even if he only gets 2:13 of ice time, the club knows that him and the Sheriff Gillies are there, but I would be more afraid of Konopka, that man has no fear.

  13. avatar Dan says:

Briere said after the game that he was not happy with the way the Islanders were handling the lopsided loss.
“When you get embarrassed like that, there’s lots of frustration. They didn’t like that and had to respond some way, somehow. They did it with their fists.”

I remember two fights between Konopka and Carcillo but besides the check by Hunter which was clean.

So instead of you being a real man you decide to take your stick and swing it at a guys head. Thank goodness Frans wears a shield because that could have been very serious without one not that it was not with one.

By the way Jon Sim was placed on waivers. I guess to either send him down and leave Martin up here.

  14. avatar HandlangerV2 says:

Would love to see Yablonsky MMA Pronger with a straight knockout punch!

  15. avatar peter puck says:

You can be sure the league will issue a warning to both teams before the game so if we take Carcillo’s head off there will be all kinds ofsuspensions on the Islanders. As the guys will say we have to meet them several more times so there will be good chances to take care of him when the league isn’t looking.
But then thats the Philly way I am old enough to remember Bobby Clarke when he played. he was one of the dirtiest players ever to lace on skates and one who always hid behind the skirts of Schultz and others.
The current team obviously has learned from him

  16. avatar Pete46 says:

It’s fair, but like someone just said few posts upper, it’s 3 to protect him from someone goes after him…

  17. avatar gordy lane says:

A funny thing to all the BS at the end of the game was Pronger holding onto DP and them chatting a bit. Then DP must have said I really want to fight and Pronger looked over at Carcillo and said he (DP) wants to fight and let him go. Then the ref got in the way. I guess as cheap as Pronger usually is he was somewhat a peacemaker because you figure he would be throwing with someone. Maybe he even thought Breire was an ass.

  18. Hate to say it but I’m hoping for Yabo too.
A Martin vs. Carcillo fight would be nice too…Pronger nailed JT a few times too I wouldn’t mind if Gilles went after him.

Send this message but control the game. Everyone better show up to play.

  19. avatar hyedray says:

I feel like the suspension is ok, but still not enough. If you look at the replay, Neilsen said something to him. No doubt. But regardless of that, Briere went just an inch shy of swinging his stick at Neilsen’s head. No matter what the circumstance, no player should be going after another players head, or using his stick as a weapon. If the league really wants to slam the door shut on head shots, it should have been a stiffer penalty.

  20. avatar Al R. says:

We’re all happy about a 3 game suspension because we figured “The Colon” would only give one or none for a violation against the peasant Islanders. What if Islanders had done what Briere and Carcillo did. They would both be suspended for more than 3 games. Saturday should result in myriad Islander penalties as the refs will get instructions from the league to not allow them to retaliate. I sincerely doubt though that any Flyers goon will get 6 minutes for roughing under any circumstances.

  21. avatar Joe SHmoe says:

Can’t say I’m as satisfied as others with this. Remember Chris Simon getting over 20 games for using his stick on Hollweg? The suspension was defended by Campbell who said “since Simon is a repeat offender”
Whelp, Briere has been suspended twice in the last couple of years, once for a dangerous high stick and the other for a blindside elbow. That makes Danny a repeat offender. Let’s face it, if the Flyers weren’t playing the Isles in a few days this suspension may have only been 1 game. Personally a minimum of 5 games would have been more acceptable if we’re using the same standards that Campbell has justified his prior rulings on.

  22. avatar IslesUlster1992 says:

Wow. I’m surprised. The Isles better re-tool for this week. I want to see some wins.

  23. avatar Mike"thesuitcase"sillinger says:

I agree with 3 games but if that is worth 3 games cammelari should of gotten 6

  24. avatar EAF says:

it would have been 2 games if they don’t play again on Saturday.

  25. avatar TM says:

NYI won’t even breathe on Carcillo Saturday. I’m still waiting for them to do something to Mottau for Nielsen, Phaneuf for Okposo, Cammalleri, Darcy Tucker & Gary Roberts.

They’re LOSERS on the scoreboard and in the respect department.

  26. avatar pdebenedetto says:

It was interseting to read TSN fan comments. Some had said they noticed Frans taking a chop at Briere’s ankles while they took the draw. I watched over and over and saw nothing. Good suspension. I doubt we will see Yabo. Really don’t need him with Zenon, Trevor, and Martin.

  27. avatar ERIKA TENCIC says:

Should have been at least 5. This is exactly what the league is trying to abolish, serious head injury. One more game than wiz for making a lewd gesture just does not cut it, I’m sorry. I would love nothing more than for someone to wipe the smirk off Pronger’s face. I would prefer to do it with 2 pts, but if that fails….

  28. avatar orngfan says:

wow 3 games.. colin campbell is really going out of his way on this one! jon sim on waivers? FINALLY! when do we put Bruno Gervais on it?!

  29. avatar shlo says:

I am all for getting even, but not on Saturday,
There will be 4 more games after that and plenty of time. The refs will be watching and will be heavy handed if the Isles do anything plus suspensions from Campbell soup who love to stick it to the Isles.
Do not be right, be smart. Pick the time fight when they least expect it.

  30. avatar HandlangerV2 says:

Who cares if Gillies gets suspended?! He barely plays 3 minutes a game!!! Unleash the monster in him and let him take care of Pronger and Carcillo.

  31. avatar Hishutzi Skorz says:

Line of the season…”Assuming he clears waivers!”

  32. avatar valentino says:

Please god…let some other team claim sim off waivers

  33. avatar Chris R says:

    TM.

Mottau is on the islanders now and he made up with neilsen. Also, Gary Roberts is retired.

  34. avatar JD says:

I personally would have liked to see Briere gone for 5 but I can live with 3. As much as I would like to see retribution against the Flyers, we need the points right now. If the game is out of reach, then maybe we will see something but I highly doubt it. This isn’t old time hockey anymore. We all know the refs and the league are going to be watching Saturday’s game very carefully.

  35. avatar Blizzard says:

…what!? They waived Sim? But he hustles up and down the ice!!!

  36. avatar Lets Go Isles says:

It’s apparent that some players will start to be moved around in order to make the necessary room for returnees Schremp, Okposo, etc. I’m not entirely thrilled with placing Sim on waivers but to make room for Schremp and to leave Martin ok I’ll live with it. Every team needs an (dare I say it) Avery type PIA and Sim is that player for us plus he hustles his tail off. I would have liked to have seen Gervais waived which they might have done if not for Jurcina’s injury.

As for the Briere nonsense. 3 games is not enough and there are some important points made by previous posters. Briere is a re-offender and has essentially painted on target on him for the rest of the season. He should have been given 5-6 games. The Isles need to get the W first and will most likely take of business in the first few minutes of the game(probably Konopka-Carcillo 3) but let’s focus on the win guys. There’s plenty of time for revenge when Briere returns. And I highly doubt Jablonski is called up, he was signed to protect the Brideport kids.

  37. avatar Chris TMC says:

Why in the world would anybidy WANT Sim to be claimed? He did a great job in Bridgeport and he will do it again.

  38. avatar cgs878 says:

Oh god no, please… first Park isn’t rehired and now Sim is on waivers?!? All my favorite players are being shown the door. Dag nabbit!

  39. avatar Hoser14 says:

Even more embarressing than the Isles effort on Saturday night, were the refs! They had no control of the game. I can see Hunter’s 5 minutes and a early cold shower, but explain this to me: why did Nielsen get a 10 minute Misconduct? I guess Frans didn’t fall down fast enough.

Well, there goes this year’s Lady Byng Trohpy!

As for 3 games for Briere, it’s fair, we won’t see him this Saturday’s grudge match, but how come no time off for that cretinous yahoo Carcillo?

  40. avatar TM says:

Yes Chris R, I know. Just pointing out how nothing changes from season to season. Decade to decade. Era to era.

Another injury, this time Jurcina. Are the training staff people paid at the salary floor too?

  41. avatar Hollywood says:

Thank Heaven Sim is on his way out! As for Sat, yes we need the points but that doesn’t mean that Gillies, Konopka and Martin can’t dish out som hurtin on the Flyers. Problem is in todays NHL all the retaliatory hype usually crumbles and nothing ever happening. The only hope is after watching Konopka going ape shit after being tossed from the game that they still have a fire for Sat.

  42. avatar Strummer's Army says:

WOW! I was having kinda a rough day but Jon Sim on waivers really makes this a great day! Bruno, Martinek…..you are next.

When the team plays Philly again they need to grab the FLyers stars and beat them, whether they choose to fight or not. I remember Gillies said that when the other teams started targeting the Isles, the Isles would go after their stars and that would always be the end of it.

Despite Comeau’s periods of very good play he and many others of the Isles “nice guys” just won’t defend each other and that is tragic. Blake won’t even defend himself.

  43. avatar Schultz39 says:

Difference between Philly and us is that even their skill players defend themselves – Briere, Richards, Hartnell, Pronger, etc. Outside of crazy Z, Marty, and Gillies, the rest of our team is very soft.

  44. avatar hyedray says:

The bad luck continues — Jurcina was playing well. What a shame. These injuries continue game after game after game. In the 10 games we have played I think we left the game only 1 time without losing a player to injury.

  45. avatar 4theisles says:

Problem with too many goons is that you lose offensive!

  46. avatar Steve M says:

I thought Jurcina was a pretty decent D-man, oh well. Maybe Hamonic will be called up?

  47. avatar Isleswx says:

what did I miss? Wasn’t Sim on a two-way deal? Why waivers? Too early in the season for sending down players? If not, I see this as a move by Snow to just completely dump Sim.

  48. avatar valentino says:

Chris TMC….Sim did a great job?!?!
At what? Taking up space? They should have never brought him back in the first place. Id rather they keep Martin up.

  49. avatar Build the Buzz says:

Look. This Team needs a Nasty Edge, plain and simple. They need a couple of regular players to realize and want that. Maybe once Ownership & Management sees that, they won’t put up with having DiPietro give them no chance.

  50. avatar gordy lane says:

One of the biggest problems that the NHL has is that there is just to much stick work. Fighting has it purpose in the game but you have all these non tough guys using their sticks as weapons. Then you go and hide behind your tough guy so you do not have to be held accountable. One of these days someone is not going to be getting up off the ice afterwards.

  51. avatar jimbones says:

3 games is nothing. I thought the league was getting serious for heaad shots….oh wait thats ok if it takes the head off an Isle. Nice work *Colon* Cambell.

  52. avatar AngryPete says:

I, for one …. was very happy with the way Eaton swung his purse at Briere after the whole incident.

  53. avatar EAF says:

#46, that’s what I thought. Sim is on two way deal. I don’t think he needs to be put on waivers on order for him to play at bridge. Am i missing something?

  54. avatar admin says:

Although Jon Sim in on a two-way contract, that doesn’t absolve him from waivers. He has to go through waivers to be sent to the minors. The Islanders want to clear the space for the return of Rob Schremp…CB

  55. avatar DLR says:

the fighting is the only thing to look forward to

  56. avatar dudemanguy says:

Two Way contracts only apply to compensation, nothing to do waivers. A one way contract players gets paid the same regardless of if they are playing in the NHL or AHL. A two way player has two different pay rates, one for each league.

I believe being put on waivers has to do with the number of NHL games played and/or age.

  57. avatar IslesUlster1992 says:

I’d like to see Hamonic get a call (or some other D prospect) instead of Gervais on defense. He’s awful. Honestly, I’d rather someone put an R.C. race car with a stick on the ice over Gervais.

  58. avatar IslesUlster1992 says:

I’d like to see Hamonic get a call (or some other D prospect) instead of Gervais on defense. He’s awful. Honestly, I’d rather someone put an R.C. race car with a stick on the ice over Gervais.

  59. avatar Brian G says:

CB – Will the Isles call up a D-man? why did they need to put Sim on waivers when they are down to 6 defenseman (Macdonald & Jurcina on IR) and have available roster spots?

  60. avatar IslesRock says:

How come our non fighters are targets? It’s because Mr. Snow has put together a small, undrsized team. Yes, we have Martin and Konopka, but that’s where it ends for players taking a regular shift. Our D is so soft and small, and too many undersized forwards. Garth, you can still rebuild with some nasty, hard hitting bulk. It would also be nice if JT had a chance to play with a frontline player. All this can be done with their joke of a budget too.

  61. avatar Tony says:

The Isles have a few players that will fight, but very few others who have guts and heart. Still the softest team in the league.

  62. avatar Eric Cup says:

Strummer #42, Martinek? I can’t disagree more. He’s been healthy and playing well.

I think it’s important to keep in mind that there are games on Wednesday and Thursday before we play the Flyers again. Those are the games to be concerned with right now. Instead worrying about retaliation on Saturday, how about winning 2 road games and getting back to playing good hockey. I know everyone wants to beat the hell out of this guy or that guy, but it rarely ever works out that way and winning the game is the best revenge anyway. Without looking it up, I know Briere makes a ton of money so this 3 game suspension will be very expensive for him.

  63. avatar Hollywood says:

Schremp will help the PP and the return of Grabner will bring back the speed we have been lacking.

  64. avatar jonsson3 says:

Anyone want a goalie with a mere 10 years left on his contract?

  65. avatar Crazy8 says:

I’d rather they have gotten rid of Gilles. At least Sim draws a penalty once and a while and is defensively responsible enough to play more than 2 minutes a game. Gilles on this team is a joke. We’ll never win if we only 3 lines to play.

That said I’d rather have neither. Martin hits, fights and has some offensive upside. Those are the kind of intimidating players I’d rather watch.

  66. avatar jamal says:

maybe this is the chance to give hamonic a shot at a few games

  67. avatar Isleswx says:

Thanks for the info CB and dudemanguy. Tough to understand some of these regs. I figured it was for schremp too since he returns Monday. Glad Martin stays though.

  68. avatar Strummer's Army says:

This quote kills me. Read how “one of the classiest players in the game” justifies using his stick to attempt to cause injury to Frans Nielsen’s head. I guess Briere didn’t like it when Gillies pushed his sissy ass to the ice and rather then use his fist because he didn’t like that decided to use his stick. JERK

“When you get embarrassed like that, there’s lots of frustration,” Briere said on Saturday. “They didn’t like that and had to respond some way, somehow. They did it with their fists.”

He should have added….I did it with my stick.

  69. avatar Strummer's Army says:

#62 Sim never draws a penalty, never has. He takes penalties….bad ones.

Gillies mere presence gives a very timid bunch of players a lot more confidence. His, Martin’s, and Riechlecz’s addition to the depleted roster led to the last season winning streak last year because they guys were not so intimidated.

  70. avatar streit02 says:

I dont really agree with any of these suspensions. The leauge needs to put in black and white what action will warrant a specific suspension. Ive never seen such inconsistency in my life. You would think that people who get put into positions to make executive decisions would have a logical way to go about things, but clearly all over the place (not just in hockey) people are left shaking their heads. I think 3 games is too much, although i also disagreed with every other suspension that was handed out this year. Seeing it was against an Islander atleast the league didnt slap him on the wrist like players usually get against the Isles. Good thing Breire doesnt play for Toronto or Montreal. Call me old school, but Briere’s punishment should come in the next game vs. the Isles and he should have to take responsibility for what he did on the ice. This is why the instigator rule needs to be tweaked as well. Suspensions should be handed out for severe intent to injure actions. Briere’s move was classless, but its hockey. Frans wasnt going to be paralyzed from it. The refs should have stepped aside and let Briere get his beatings. Isn’t that what hockey is about? Id rather see Danny boy leave with a couple less teeth than have him sit out 3 games.

  71. avatar kevO says:

let’s force DP to retire! he is terrible!

  72. avatar 4theisles says:

I hope Schremp does well. But expecting too much from him coming off an OK+ season at best and injury is not realistic. His main value of quick soft hands and accurate shot was always in shoot outs and not low down in traffic.

  73. avatar ODG says:

CB thanks for the info. Sorry to hear about Juice he was playing well. Sim is all heart and I suspect he’ll be up at some point. I think we would all agree with bringing Travis up…he, looked real solid in pre-season and stats wise is doing well at the Bridge.

  74. avatar Hoser14 says:

The Islanders dump Sim to clear the space for the return of Rob Schremp…..and what, blow their salary cap space!

  75. avatar jason says:

noone is claiming Sim. im going to my 1st game of the yr on sat. Im looking forward to this one. Hopefully they play better. But, i wouldnt be surprised if Gilies sends a message from the start

  76. avatar Hollywood says:

    Crazy8 on Nov 1st, 2010 14:28:01 said:
We all were killing the organization for not having tough guys to watch the younger guys. Now so many of you are saying they don’t want Gillies. Make up your minds. The issue is Gordon needs to play him more. The guy can play 5 minutes a game.

  77. avatar Perry Card says:

It’s payback time. Enough of taking it out on the chin. Lets be the aggressor. Bring up Yabo. Gillies has not looked awful in his limited ice time. We should be after Pronger Carter and Richards from the get go.
Losing a game because we took some instigator penalties will bring the team together in the long run. If we lose because of a few power play goals so be it. To play like pansies and lose any way is just stupid. If the Isles do not change their style of play they are not going to make the playoffs anyways.
I remember in the late 70′s most teams went with 3 lines and rarely played their 4th line. The Isles used Westfall and Henning killing penalties and rarely on a regular shift. I believe
then you were allowed to dress only 16 skaters and 2 goalies

  78. avatar Jim Clark says:

Jon Sim to the minors? This will put a crimp on ticket sales.

With three game suspension of Briere, the NHL shows that violence is worse than hand gestures by Wisniewski (but less than trash talk about former girlfriends by Avery).

  79. avatar jeff says:

Seems rather odd that his suspension ends just after the rematch. basically, headhunting is allowed in this league, if the target is a member of the NY Isles. Bettmen should have stepped in and thrown the book at this guy.

  80. avatar IslesRock says:

Crazy8, it’s not about having a goon who cannot skate. I have no problem with Gillies playing here or there on an as needed basis. It’s about a roster filled with non hitting Smurfs. The Isles are small upfront and on D. Our small core of young players are finesse guys.

  81. avatar chrism says:

Wow, 3 games. Campbell must really hate Briere. I guess if he was an Islander player he would have been suspended for the season.

  82. avatar DC23 says:

Management missed the boat on Sim. Fair or unfair, to Isles fans Sim symbolized the last 3 years of losing. To bring him back only opened the wound for the fans. As usual Wang/Snow do not have the pulse of the fanbase.

  83. avatar Islz says:

Does anyone actually think that Philly will be scared despite who we have in the lineup? How about the team plays better and being frustrated by being down 5 goals never becomes part of the equation. The injuries are taking there toal. Stay hopefull GO ISLES!

  84. avatar Healy says:

Shoulda been 5, but I was surprised it was more than 1. I think Saturday has a lot to do with term.

  85. avatar isles66 says:

Glad Schremp will be back in lineup shortly but find it comical that we’re waiving a player to clear space to bring back a guy who was 7-18=25 last season. Not exactly Trots, for that matter, not exactly Wayne Merrick.

  86. avatar Ted says:

Hopefully Sim was waived to make room for Ogilthorpe.

  87. avatar Hollywood says:

85# Takes those numbers from Schremp and look at the games played. The guy is the best play maker we have. He alone will help the PP and make opposing defenses dizzy with his stick handling. Schremp should be centering Tavares.

  88. avatar Adam B says:

42-What are YOU drinking? Radek on waivers? Do understand hockey? Having him healthy again (finally) is the most calming presence that’s happened to the Isles’ blue line since the patience of Kenny J! He never makes a bad pass!

  89. avatar justin says:

Sat. should be good one, start with dumping the puck in, not at them and let Martin unleash some bang bang on them. Gillies and Kop. a little scrapping and we will have a game. Use the tools ya got,big checks are everything.

  90. avatar PotvinRocks says:

How many give aways will Bruno get before Hamonic is called up?

  91. avatar Chris TMC says:

48 valentino, you need to read my posts before you get them totally wrong and yell at me for them lol. After reading it again and actually seeing what I said, if you dont think Sim did a good job in Bridgeport, I dont know what else to tell you.

  92. avatar jakeisles says:

If you really watch Schremp closely, he and Tavares have the highest skill level on the team, let Schremp play a full season and there is no doubt he is a 70 to 80 point player.

  93. avatar fass16 says:

absolutely nothing against Shremp, but he’s gonna hit people and get under their skin??? I don’t think so. Sim plays 4th line minutes, drives to the net, kills penalties and does the intangibles that no one seems to see on this list. Shremp is ANOTHER “top 6″ guy who dances with the puck. And though Martin is looking good thus far, he’s hardly the agitator Sim is at the moment- hopefully he will be soon! And why do people keep saying get rid of Martinek!?!? Do you watch the games? Steadiest d-man we’ve had to this point. Draws the first line of other teams and does a good job of shutting them down.

  94. avatar terry says:

The problem is Grodon does not belive in getting revenge so he is mostly responsible for the way the team gets beat up.How come other teams can find players that can fight a protect them self.Gillies needs to play 5-6 mins a night to be effective in his role but gordon would rather play guys who dont produce much more then gillies would. This team needs to start standing up for their own butts and each others

  95. avatar sheppy says:

STRUMMER is the MAN! He gets it. He understands why Gillies is here! He is here because this team lacks a collective pair of nuts. Once the team grows a pair, there may not be a need for Gillies. Until then, in my opinion, he fills HIS role as well as Tavares does his. CB said this same thing in another post where he was discussing the players who have played as well as could be expected given their roles.

  96. avatar mikey mitts says:

At Least Chris Simon wound up with the stick so everyone could see it coming.

  97. avatar isles71 says:

So Briere gets 3 games and won’t play THIS game…HELLO…he is in our DIVISION! We will have an additional 6 GAMES to extract our revenge(if you want to take it coach, because it will come from you)!! We don’t need to go back to the 70′s where every fight caused players to ALL drop the mits and waste 25 mins each time. No, what I think we ALL want is McCarty going after Lemeiux on the OPENING face-off after the Draper hit. This is hockey and these responses do matter. It isn’t like that pseudo-macho energy crap in football where 2 fully padded, 367 lb. gorillas push each other down and swing like my 9 yr old daughter, then get up thinking they are all bad and such. Every season has moments where a team has to make a stand and show thier fans, the opposition and the league what they’re made of, our time is NOW…Go Islanders!!

  98. avatar Mario says:

I just watched the series between the flyers/bruins from last year and the girl Briere did the same thing. He cross checked a bruin right in the face. How can he not be suspended for more than three games??
