Tavares Spin-o-rama Setup of Moulson is Late Goal of the Year Entry

by Kevin Schultz on December 31st, 2011 at 2:18 pm

We already posted the 2011 Goal of the Year nominees for the Islanders earlier this week but John Tavares and Matt Moulson decided to try and get one more submission in before the year ended. During the first period of today’s game against the Oilers the pair broke into the offensive zone 2-on-1. Tavares spun and fired a pass across the slot to Moulson, who made no mistakes finishing after getting a potential goal wiped off earlier in the frame. As always, thanks to Keith for the video.

Awesome. Anybody questioning Matt Martins’ value to this team? He has been a force in this game and every game. Truly fun to watch.

matt martins value to this team is tremendous, for the same reason getting rid of konopka for reasoner is a joke.what can you say about wang, snow, capuano and weight?Alll amateurs.sorry to be negative,as long as wang is the owner we will never win the cup.NEVER!!!!IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST MIRACLE IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD IF WE WIN A CUP WITH WANG AS THE OWNER.IM A DIE HARD AND I WILL ALWAYS BE A ISLANDER,BUT IM JUST TELLING THE TRUTH.I HAVE NOT MISSED WATCHING 1 SINGLE GAME IN 33 YEARS.

Haven’t missed a single game in 33 years? You should get out more often.

I have to disagree with you. I don’t think it’s Wang, the Isles need income. Let Wang develop the land around the NVMC and use the money from that to sink into the team, then you will a good team with Wang at the helm.

Its not crazy, the former owners wanted the same thing.
